True longtitudional compact hatchback, no nannies, no safety bullshit, built just like it was built in the 80s but can be had brand new from the factory, and can still be had very cheap used
Can be lowered and made RWD with just common OEM replacement parts for the classic Lada, or by utilizing the extensive aftermarket
Can be had with a pretty decent 16-valve 4-banger, comparable to 80s-90s JDM heroes in both potential and know-how (heads don't breathe well enough for big n/a power but it LOVES boost)
If it doesn't come with one, it can be easily and cheaply swapped in, or anything you want in its place- the engine bay is pretty big
Smaller footprint than NA Miata
Short wheelbase and live rear axle = fun!
