That's asinine. Body kits to look like other vehicles have been around for decades. So many VW Beetles gave up their bodies to be modified into all kinds of other looks. The Fiero had kits to make it look like a Countach. I can't believe that seizure was legal.
>>
>>28871274

Would be hard to bring back that exact model, as it doesn't meet modern emissions, but you'd think that today's van could be welded together in the UK and sold as a Bedford again. They run the Suzuki K-Series engines which are still sold there. Would be doable.

I can put any badge I want to on my car. Kit cars are specifically made to look like other vehicles e.g. Bugattis, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, etc. They often have the badging and it's not an issue. This fake bus is a really weird case. Pic is a kit car intentionally made to look like an MG.
>>
>>28876136
>>28876225
Volkswagen seem particularly litigious. In Japan the kit manufacturers use their own badging, or none, and when you see them for sale on GooCars the dealer will tape a piece of paper over the badge.
>>
>>28876941
Seems like VW is trying to be as petty as Ferrari.
