If i can get this kind of fuel economy in a 5.0 over 100km commuting in all traffic conditions over 100km on a wet day? Ecocucks btfo
>>28864212to appeal to people who don't have the money for the V8 but still want a Mustang.what kind of dumb question is that?not everyone needs a V8, some people buy cars just because they look nice but don't feel like spending that much on a big engine. and Ford realized they want to appeal to those people
>>28864215People who dont have the money for a brand new mustang should simply buy a 2nd hand one with less than 100k km for 30k less
>>28864217Thinking about it anyone with a brain should do this. If you can afford an 85k in dollarydoos mustang that means you can afford a 50k one and 35k in mods.
>>28864224Mods make your car worth even less money, though. At least by just buying a more expensive car, you get a warranty and can retain some resale value, not that mustangs have particularly good resale value.
>>28864246My 2017 mustang has 5 years warranty stay mad low credit score Nigger
Imagine having a low credit score lol lmao even
>>28864264>boasting about her goyim scoregrim
>>28864212Overall costs are lower. Much cheaper licensing and insurance costs here in Oz. 4 cylinder also sounds less anti-social.
>>28864264I have a low credit score. I also have a pile of money in banks.
>>28864264good goy
>>28864212It's for the communists. The communists don't want anyone to have any fun. They want to get rid of all V8s and eventually all ICE vehicles.
If the ecoBoost stang came out of any factory with jdm badge on it (and maybe some ricer bodykit), normies would be shitting themselves over a new "classic" sports car
the ecoboost mustang and turbo camaro are really fun cars though. actually a good formula. take a good handling car and reduce the weight over the nose and change the weight bias and you have a better car. just because some phallus worshipping 5.0 enjoyer says you should've got the 5.0 doesn't actually mean shit. buy what you like. trying to impress others always ends with impressing yourself the least.
>>28864212When I was a young man, domestic V8s were for trailer trash and negros. When I think "V8 Mustang", I still think "redneck", so I would rather have the turbo 4, even if it is slower.
>>28864246Mods also make your car more fun. Why would you buy a cool car just to sell it?
They introduced the Mustang to Europe with the ecoboost and then later offered the V8 as well.I guess Ford found out along the way that people will buy the 4cyl option so its profitable I guess.
>>28864215Not even. It's for people who want *a* Mustang, but they don't care about muh V8 or appreciate what comes with the GT
>>28864348yes, the problem is that buying a car that offers a v8 and not getting the v8 makes you fagford should just design a small light coupe and throw the ecoboost in that or just bring back the 2 door focus
>>28864253>2017>5-year warrantyI got some bad news, bro . . .
>>28864348>this retatded argument parroted againNo, if it had a japanese badge, no one would be "shitting themselves over it", because no one would want the hypothetical S16 Silvia/new Celica/GT86 to be the size and weight of a BMW 6 series.
>>28864212The term "ecoboost" is not referring to the fuel economy, it's referring to the build quality ergo the price
>>28864348It's basically a modern JZA80 / Z32.
>>28864212this has been happening since at least the 60s. some people just want a nice looking car and don't care about power, or want a fuel sipper (relatively speaking)
>>28864217Do you think Ford prefers selling more new cars or not?
If you were really coping, you'd say it's a Mustang SVO throwback.
>>28864577I'm such a fat ugly loser
>>28864348the first time this picture wasn't paired with a dumb ass statement
>>28866179Wrong
>>28864212>30mpg U.S.Not bad, other than having to average 100km/h to achieve that.
>>28864212For fagots and women
>>28866483If you go any faster in Australia, you get forced to watch as your car gets crushed and then get executed
>>28866682>cause of death: unpatriotic speeding
>>28864212My car gets 22-24 mpg basically no matter whatBut one time I was on a highway road trip in a rainstorm and for some reason I got about 40 mpg while it was pouring
>>28864212The new one is useless. The older ones you could get with a manual were one of the best if not the best new car for drifting, you just had to upgrade the suspension.
>>28864357Bingo. And if you can find one with a manual, they don't exactly give them away, but it almost feels like it. Because the manual crowd wants a V8 and the don't-care-about-the-engine crowd wants an automatic. And the sports car crowd doesn't want a Mustang.
>>28864264My Jew score is 845.And I still dont have a car loan.
>>28868858Credit score doesnt just effect loans it effects warranty on used cars anon
>>28864212ecoboost stang was almost a good car, but the S550 models suffered from unreliable engines, and the S650 now has a better engine but has been stripped of its manual transmission and most performance goodiesyou're better off buying a BMW 230i if you want a RWD turbo 4 coupe
>>28869087Any s550 eng8nes that had problems would have already had those problems fixed under warranty and if that is th3 case the engines are reliable for 300-500k km depending on how well you treat them. Most s550s with issues was engine knock that turned into piston slap because they were being run on regular unleaded or e10 when they were designed for premium due to the high tolerances so it was operator technique
Ecoboost Mustang would've been good if it had the 3.5
It’s not to impress insufferable boomers of all ages who learned everything they know about cars in 8th grade and think anything but a v8 is great-grandmas 6-cylinder mustang, that’s for sure. There’s no cure for stupid. The ecoboost engine sure is interesting. 100lbs off the front axle and that enormous low end torque make for a handling difference that is not at all subtle. It’s too bad the car is still too heavy - if ford put that engine in a smaller lighter rwd coupe I would be like “shut up and take my money” but to be fair I felt that way about the gr86 and never bought one.
>>28864212I legit think the v8 is too much to handle for a lot of people.
