What's the cheapest quick car one can buy?
>>28864393kawasaki zx-6r
Peugeot 306
>>28864393Someone else's past project
If we're talking about stock vehicles, I'd guess it would be an old mustang or camaro, like 90's-2000's.If you mean cheapest to make quick, probably the same answer.
>>28864393foxbody mustang with gt45 ebay turbo
>>28864393the cheapest one you can afford
>>28864471Which ever v8 mustang you can afford.
>>28864393Maybe a salvage Tesla
>>28864393Needs about 170 burgers.
>>28864449Pretty much this. You can get one of these for sub-10k and run 12's NA with bolt-ons and gears and even quicker with forced induction.
You can get a used gsxr 1000 for 3000 - 4000 €
>>28864393Lamborghini Huracan is the cheapest fast car that isn't made by Tesla. Everything else is slow, except MAYBE the SF90 if you're into cuckoldry
>>28864852OP said car, not motorcycle Anon.
>>28864471I did this when I was a teenager then I learned that bikes are where its at if you can figure out how to ride. I think I spent ~9k building a budget big turbo stanger and a cbr900rr ran me $4000 when I became good enough to handle it
some clapped out subaru or something for like $5k
>>28864867Motorcycle is the only answer to cheap and quick.Maybe there will be one in 50 years when only electric cars are available and we have better and cheaper batteries than lithium-ion.
>>28864393You can build a 1800lb kit car with 200+hp for under $20k. Also don't discount trucks. They're cheap and ultra plentiful. Look at what people (Mexicans) are doing with GMT800's and the iron block "LS's" in them.
>>28864873>Motorcycle is the only answer to cheap and quick. But that's wrong.https://www.hotrod.com/features/hrdp-0709-1993-ford-mustang

>>28864799Nah she's already pretty thick in the right places...
>>28864393What do you even consider "quick"? Does it even need to be reliable? Some 2006 GTI will do a 6.2 0-60 for 3k but if you're looking to be sub-5s 0-60 with any kind of reliability it gets tough fast
>>28865424i think 6 is fine. reliable enough that it's still cheap? i can wrench pretty good
B8 S4 can be had for $15k and will run 11s with a pulley and tune.
>>288654252006-2011 Civic SI's are fun but definitely on the slow side of "quick", they rev to 8600RPM and come with an LSD. Probably 6K for a very good condition one, these are very low-maintenance. GTI's are quicker and cheaper but definitely finickier. People in this thread talking about 90's/00's muscle cars being cheap are generally talking about total shitboxes from a condition perspective. A 2005 mustang v8 in good condition is around 12k. V6 Genesis coupes can be found cheap and I think they're OK-ish reliable, the port injected ones from 2010-2012 will last longer than the DI ones from 2013-2016. Z cars are overpriced for what they are. It really depends on what you call 'cheap' as well
>>28865432>It really depends on what you call 'cheap' as well8k or less if it's runnable. >People in this thread talking about 90's/00's muscle cars being cheap are generally talking about total shitboxes from a condition perspectiveIn my area I can get 80s muscle cars for that price but they are quite slow by comparison. I can't even find a decent price manual trans am near me. i can find ok priced autos though that look decent condition from the pics
>>28864393Any cheap car is quick.
I got an impounded runs/drives 04 mustang with a major exhaust leak
the exhaust isnt properly attached to catalytic mother fucker straight piped it ez fix
for 2k off govdeals. Best deal (if American) is to just search FB marketplace/Auctions/Local U Pull Its then fix the 1 minor problem that made a retard throw it away yourself.

>>28864933He didn't just buy it though. He built it. And I doubt he would sell it as cheap as it cost him to build.
>>28864933>Modified>still not as fast as a bike>not as reliable as a bike>Pass was done on drag radials, unsuitable for highway drivingNot super strong argument you got there
>>28864393what market (eu/us/uk)? just quick 0-100 / 0-60 or do you care about top speed? can handle turns or just going forward? just cheapest to buy or to maintain as well?
>>28864393What's with gigantic trucks driven by women?
>>28867224more bigger more taller more safer
>>28867224bro you've been posting pics of your car here at least once a day since you got it. starting to seem a little desperate. it's a nice car, just enjoy it and stop being so insecure.
I’d pick up a Buick Lucerne Super to screw around with if I had a place to put it.
$12k gets you a 350hp Corvette
E92 335i go cheap in my cunt
