the biggest piece of shit i have ever owned.
should of bought a Kia Sportage
>>28866472What are your primary gripes about it? Did you get the 2.0L version?
>>28866487He had/has the 2.0 with CVT, I can just feel it.
>>28866472Mazda cx5 is probably the best car in that class
>>28866490CX5 is technically the next class up. The cx-30 is the actual competitor for the crosstrek
I got 2019 cx5 gt turbo with the 6speed. It's ok. I run premium, the ecu has some sort rsp 1sec time delay when I request WOT. About the only thing I don't like about it. Comes with a cai from the factory. About 32k miles on the clock. Ask away.
>>28866490Is the Mazda shilling here paid or is it just retards who think nice paint and a decent interior makes a car good? Every Mazda I've driven from the last 15 years (obviously apart from the MX5) has been flimsy dogshit in driving dynamics with an engine that sounds like my washing machine at 1400rpm.
Why would you get that instead of an Outback or Forester?
>>28866560My parents have a cx5 with the turbo and it's pretty awesome. I put pedal down and you barely notice turbo lag. It's not as quick as my giulia or 911 but it's way better than my parents old crv. Infotainment is decent. Nvh kinda sucks but it's an economy vehicle. My rental sienna was louder on the highway than a cx5 though.
>>28866472I was contemplating between this, an HRV and a Mazda CX-30 and glad I ended up with the HRV
>>28866472All Subarus, Shitsubishis, Hyundais, Kias, and Hondas are tin-can pieces of garbage built exclusively for broke hideous trannies. Every single person who drives one of those shitheaps is a loser.
>>28866473haha that's what I did and I love ittho srsly I see crosstrek's EVERYWHERE>>28866564much cheaper
>>28866627ok, post your Bentley, bro.
>he didn't get a forester
>>28866472Did your sunroof randomly shatter yet? That's a good time.
>>28866730courtney from okcupid wants to run the gas chambers on your family so that she can go skiing.
>>28866784Courtney will take your breath away and NOT in the good way.
>>28866716If you say so
>>28866850nta but this is embarrassing
>>28866472You bought that butch lesbian faggot mobile?
>>28867822you're a retarded AI poster, that's what I'm saying
>>28866472Kek. I love mine.
>>28866747Crosstrek is not a wagon, you're thinking of the Outback.
kek whats up with the gas chamber memes
>>28866472Really? I bought the sport trim and I love mine. The only thing that genuinely bugs me is the shitty sound system and the shitty touchscreen tablet
>>28866472OP doesn't explain himself: the thread. Not much for us to go off of. I liked mine but traded it in for a WRX because I wanted to finally drive one before the car Jews prevent me from buying one. Figures I finally pull the trigger and on the same weekend America goes to war with Iran and gas goes up though. I had no real complaints about the Crosstrek. It was fast enough for normie use and was a hatch which is what I really want. It's very practical. If I wanted an econobox I'd have looked elsewhere.
>>28869435How are you enjoying the WRX, anon? Always wanted one, but too poor sadly (considering insurance + gas + maintenance even if I buy a clapped out used one).
>>28869443Only had it for a week and it's very fun. Currently in engine break-in mode so can't push it past 4K rpm until I get to 3000 km (owner manual says 1600km). Gear ratios feel spot on even to drive it sanely. Growls nicely when starting it and calms down after warming up and driving it to operating temp. Changing gears is smooth and downshifting is very forgiving. I'm leasing so don't really care I'm eating depreciation, I'm just happy I could finally pull the trigger without being car poor. I know there are other cars near its segment that are more powerful but this one felt right for me. I really wanted a hatch so I'm hoping they finally come out with one but I'm not hopeful which is why I also pulled the trigger. I clearly make choices that are poorly timed but those things aren't in my control so I try not to worry about it and just enjoy while I still can.
>>28866784I don't get it and I have a Forester. Is there something I don't know?
>>28869464>>28866784I too am out of the loop.
>>28869443Oh. And wife complains it's too loud. So I guess that's good.
>>28869461Enjoy, bro.>>28869565Based.
Going to go test drive one tomorrow. I just want to be able to go for hikes and shit this summer and want to be able to drive through forest roads and that is about it. I don't think I need a 4runner or anything, will a CW be good enough? I get like 4k off through my work lol
>>28866784what did he mean by this?
>>28870059anon, you will be so much happier with a kia sportage
>>28870144why
>>288701998 speed automatic is way betterif you can afford a used xpro prestige you get skid plates, ventilated seats, a center diff lock (genuinely useful for dirt roads), much more room, yes its more expensive, the infotainment is much newer, you get better cameras, sensors, hands free driving its like a way better car.
>>28870210it's going to fail at 100k miles.
>>28870059Nah, I'd at least opt for something with a torque converter and locking rear diff.
>>28870717like what
>>28870697I see you're an optimist
