At which speed does your car start shaking?
my cougar used to have violent shakes from 85-118mph and then it would go completely still all the way to like 130 where it topped out.
>>28866576Mine doesn't. You can take it all the way to the limiter and it doesn't care. Creeps like a bastard though, if you're cruising at 70 and don't pay attention you easily hit a ton without realizing it.

>>288665760mpht. P0302
>>2886657670 mph, probably a wheel balancing issue, slower or faster than that and it goes away. wheels were balanced twice and still occurring. seems to have reduced intensity with a bit more driving, but likely need to get it road force balanced
Over 100mph. Offroad truck tires are not really meant to go that fast.
>>28866576>fake clockwork internals on a device operated by a computer
mine shakes at 80mph and then again at 155mph. I'm sure it some sort of harmonics thing.
>>28866576My most clapped out shitboxes which includes old trucks and SUV's with visibly fucked alignment and flat spotted tires have all been completely stable and smooth at 100+mph. What the fuck are you people driving if you're having issues at 70mph?
>>28866869Stolen mail trucks they turbo’d in skeeter’s backyard
All the freakin' time baby
>>28866874I've owned a couple Blazer S10's which are the same platform that the LLV sits on and those were perfectly stable and boring at 100+mph. Ironically it seems to be more Euro vehicles that seem to struggle at high speeds.
Car feels planted all the way up to 120 haven't really fucked around above that much
My most recent car about 65mph, my current one around maybe 80mph or when it starts to feel a little uncomfortable. And I hate taking turns over 75 even. I swear Colorado's interstates are a death trap
When my DeLorean hits 88 mph the earth starts shaking.
went up to 130mph and doesnt shake at all

>>28866576i never get the puissance
>>288665760mph, rough idle that disappeared after 900rpm
>>28866597
>>28866879>Ironically it seems to be more Euro vehicles that seem to struggle at high speeds. It's an engineering thing, euro cars are designed to have smaller engines, be smaller, lighter, have tighter turning circles and stiffer suspension. At high speed the whole system is working harder. A large part of this is due to the infrastructure, euro roads, although better maintained, are typically tighter and windier than everywhere else. It's a similar issue comparing cab-overs vs. big-rigs.Or if you want to go on-track, rally vs. NASCAR.
>>288665761.9 tdithe shaking never stops
>>28866576It hasn't, but i haven't gone any faster than 220 kph so far
>>28866576150mph and the wind shield wipers begin to flutter.180mph and there's some high frequency vibration that makes the dash rattle.
I actually hate living in a state where the average highway speed limit is like fucking 80. It makes driving so stressful
idle
>>28868231how does that fat fucking cunt go over 150
>>28868600big motor
>>28868600Mass, well spaced gearbox and heavy flywheel.
>>28868601my motors bigger than yours and i think it'll only go 155
>>28866869Mine doesnt shake but it starts to wander across the lane after I hit 80mph because I have shot tie rods and a rear motor mount that I do not feel like fixing
I got my tires at Discount Tire because free rotations and balancingGot my tires rotated and balanced and damn near flung off the highway at 65 mph driving to the airportI thought I had some major steering or suspension problem, went to the mechanicTurned out the kid who did the balancing didn't take off any of the wheel weights, he just kept adding more and more weights to every wheel as he was workingWell, "working"I kind of feel like an idiot for not checking the wheel weights myself but now I know, take that shit off yourself before getting Discount Tire service
>>28866576Idle. 68 Nova with a supercharged 454.
>>28866576It doesn't, even at Vmax on the Autobahn.
