>only about 3,200 manual SRT 392's were sold in America I didn't realize they were that rare.
thats because manuals are slow and gay and limit you BIGLY in torque
a manual in anything over 4000 lbs makes zero sense don't @ me.
>>28867542Manual is like 0.2 seconds slower 0-60. Are you coping about having an auto or something?
>>28867538they played some word games with the trims, SRT 392 was its own trim for a while which turned back into the scat pack (non SRT). the numbers are still pretty low but not as low as this number indicates.
>>28867538No shit, mutts can't shift.
>>28868166The SRT 392 is a scat pack with all options possible as standard plus full laguna leather interior that was only available on the Hellcat. It also had the performance pack with the 6 piston brembo brakes and adaptive suspension that wasn't available on some years of the scat pack.So basically it's the premium scat pack.
>>28868168Americans are the reason manual hasn't been completely phased out of many performance cars. Say thank you.>y-yeah well us eurocucks drive our 1.3L shitboxes with manual!!Epic.
>>28867538Niggers can't drive stick
I love my 23 Scatty w/ 6-speed. The shift knob is matching green with little scat bee on it. I love making my fat American countrymen seethe by zooming around them loudly, both with noise and colorful eyesore.
>>28868170I had one of these - fantastic car. Honestly, more fun to drive and own than the Hellcat that I got after because:>the power band is more reasonable for daily use>the gearing is different, 1st gear is shorter and you don't need to throttle to get the car moving from standstill, and 6th gear is taller so you get less engine noise on highway>way more fuel efficient, we're talking a good 5mpg difference between the two>same level of comfort, sound system quality, trim and finish-excellent brakes and suspension
wow so rare and coveted so long as your name is jamarcus or dakwane or whatever
>>28868187A SRT 392 was $50k, which is $66k today. Negros couldn't afford them. Average buyer was a white man over 40. Only 9883 total were made globally.
>>28868213>t. posted from my 2009 hyundai elantra
>>28868219you sound argentinian >>28868221>t. draemond washington
>>28868222Blue eyed, white, red blooded American.
>>28868219They can afford them with a 20% APR and $10k down in baby mama tax refund money. I dont know if you've ever worked at a mopar dealership but blacks will sign literally any deal that gets them into the car they want. It doesnt matter if the payment is $1000 a month and they live in their baby mamas section 8 apartment and this is half of their legitimate take home income, they will sign the deal most of the time. Its a status symbol among blacks.
>>28868230They buy used V6 chargers, bud.
>>28868229oh nm youre clearly jeet
>>28868236You don't even have blue eyes, do you? Also that pic is based. Saved.
>>28868234I actually only see teenagers with those. tons of blacks view the v8 as a status symbol. Sound familiar?
>>28868241They can't afford them, of course it's a status symbol. It's also a status symbol amongst whites. I live in a white area and get constant compliments and comments about how awesome it is and how good it looks. I work in tech and all my coworkers are white and they wanted me to rev it for them etc. In fact, the only negative comments I get are from seething beta elantra drivers online. Funny huh?
>>28868251>tech>whitenice larp loser
>>28868234Yeah because its usually all they can get approved for, but rest assured if they can get even the R/T V8 they will.
>>28868257>doesn't have blue eyes>is poorLol. Lmao.
>>28867542>trusting dodge/stellantis to make a reliable AT.
>>28868267>and then everyone clappedlamayo
>>28868187>le driving stick is le secret white man skillOk mutt, most "stick" drivers are africans and indians kek
What happens is that people with the money go and test drive one and see that the auto is better so they buy that
>you're brown>I'm not brown, you're mad>I'm not mad, you're brownand so on until bump limitwhat is it about the dodge challenger that fosters such thrilling discussion?
>>28867538i coonsoome americs car tubers, and i still dont get why they worship stick? ffs, you got all thoose horses and torqtwistings, just build a perfect hard shifting high stall speed auto for it? its faster, more reliable and you never have to do a clutch swap again?stick is for grandmas in opel corsa 1,2 going to church, real men drive auto.
>>28868425You drive a v6, you are in no position to talk about tork or horsepower
>>28868410the beatings will continue until the larp ceases
>>28867557>0-60whats the deal with mutts and straight line speed?also, you literally only need 2 gears for 0-60
>>28868309The manual has a ~30% take rate, which is pretty good. The manual is top tier, it's a Tremec TR-6060. The autos are more popular because many people either have never really driven stick or don't want to bother with shifting their own gears, they're thinking about traffic etc. This especially applies to people over 40 who are the main demographic of purchasers because they're typically the ones with enough money to actually buy them.
>>28868479What's the deal with cucks pretending to not care about straight line speed? Is it just cope because their car has 112 hp?
>>28868721idk all of our roads look like this. no idea why we cant build straight roads
>>28868733>>28868721forgot picrel
>>28868734You can rip on that road, ya dingus. Straight line speed is absolutely relevant there.
>>28868447Post engine and hand.
>>28867538Adding my manual ScatPack right after I drove it off the lot. I have a mental condition so I have both a Challenger and a Charger ScatPack so I get to experience the best of both worlds.
>>28868782the thumbnail almost made it look like you had red nail polish on your thumb lol
>>28868864what gearbox? how does it shift? like a truck gearbox or silky smooth?
>>28868880It’s the factory TR6060. Aside from the stock throws being a little long, it’s great. Might be too notchy for some people’s taste but I like it.
>>28868864>I have a mental condition so I have both a Challenger and a Charger ScatPackLol what the fuck.
>>28869179I don’t need your judgement, pal
>>28867538That's about ten times as many as I would have guessed.
>>28869350>$70k worth of cars for the lulzBased retard.
>so you see my plastic shitheap of a ghetto chariot is actually highly rare and special
>the car? no lets talk about black people instead seriously this has to stop
>>28869376>Fast muscle cars? >reeee black people!!>Mercedes or BMW?>reeee arabs!!Apparently anything fast or nice is only for non-whites? Such a faggy attitude.
>>28869369Well to be fair, both cars sticker just over 50k with the Challenger being more since it’s optioned out, not trying to flex, that’s just how much they went up in price. What I will flex about though is that since I have a good relationship with this particular dealer, for obvious reasons, I paid sticker when other ScatPack and SRT cars on that lot and other dealers were being marked up 10-15k more. Keep in mind I bought a Hellcat and a couple of Rams from this dealer as well so I don’t really get jerked around.
>>28869398Do you like the scat packs over the hellcat?
>>28868782Post Engine Tick?
>>28869370>snarky comment meant to incite a response>never accompanied with a picture of a car that's "better"Do you ever get tired of being a loser Anon?
>>28869400The Hellcat is blast when you can really open it up because of the silly amount of power and torque but having said that, you can’t really open it up that much on the street for that exact reason. It’s constantly trying to light the rears up or you wind up going license revoking go to jail speed. The ScatPacks are similar but they’re more toned down. You can push them harder on the street without constantly spinning and sliding. They still will if you want them to, but you can push a little harder before that happens. Also pay no mind to the retards that say ScatPacks are slow, you will absolutely wrap one around a tree if you think they’re slow or underpowered.
>>28869411>doesn't post engine and handlol
>>28869413I daily a 392 in a rainy area (160 days of rain per year) and it breaks loose very easily in the wet. Even when it's dry and warm you still have to watch it. 485 HP is no joke. While a Hellcat would be badass I figure it'd be kind of annoying to daily with that much rain. If I lived in Texas it'd be different.
>>28869480I’ve driven all three in the rain and they’re all equally useless for trying to take off fast regardless of whatever tires you have on them. I’ve got summer tires on all three, wider than factory on the ScatPacks, and matting the gas in the wet even while rolling usually results in lots of wheel spin and the car going through a few gears.
>>28869524I run UHP all seasons because it's cool here as well. Approximately 55% of the year the UHP all seasons are as good or better in grip than UHP summers. It's common for it to be 45-55F. And they do fine in the summer, like 10-15% worse. Whereas the summers are hockey pucks at 40F.275 in front and 305 in back, 9.5" width stock wheels.
>>28869460most of the people screaming "dodge is for niggers" are ironically brown themselves. wheelgap spic being a prime example.
>>28867538blacks cant drive stick, you have to have a dad to teach you
>>28868183>Charger is auto only>Challenger is dead>Camaro is dead>Ford GT is dead, also the second gen was auto only>Viper is dead>Corvette is now auto onlyAmericans killed all manual sports cars other than Mustang
>>28869858BUT DA AUTOMATIC IS SO FAST ITS NOT KEKED AS FUCK AT ALL ITS BETTER
>>28869824He already tried to
>>28867538The manual 6.4 with the 392 moniker is not common, but the 6.4L was also in the srt8.The widebody 392s on the otherhand...
>>28869972>6.4L was also in the srt8SRT-8 had a 6.1L with 425 hp. SRT 392 has a 6.4L with 485 hp
>>28869544I am in south Texas and as such I can run the summer tires year round. I won’t lie, I usually don’t drive the cars when it starts getting into the 40s because they are on summer tires. I have driven the Hellcat when it was freezing once and the summer tires didn’t feel great.
>>28869972the 2011 srt8 had the 6.4
>24.3 mpg on a 95 mile trip>spent a fair amount of time at 80 mph @ 1950 RPMHell yeah.
They should've stuck that Mercedes diesel V6 found in the 300C into the Challenger too.
