I hate leather seatsThey look bad, feel bad, and are so fucking annoying to cleanWhy have they become the standard of everything?
>>28870805>Why have they become the standardBecause most people aren't retards that think they look and feel bad.
>>28870951most people are fat stinking retards who go massively into debt on a goymobile, whose tastes and inclinations are manufactured via marketing
>contrarians
>>28870953Even setting aside your massively undeserved superiority complex, that doesn't change the fact that leather is durable, comfortable, and attractive. It has been for thousands of years.
>>28870805I like how leather feels against my skin. With that said:> Why have they become the standard of everything? Are you sure you're not thinking of vinyl?
>>28870805it's not leather OP it's plastic or plastic layered as many manufacturers haven't used real leather for years and it's not because it's "better" it's because most buyers are dumbasses who can't take care of real leather
>>28870805Because pleather presents better than cloth does when purchasing. It looks clean, tight, and modern where cloth is a bit dull to the eye and everybody remembers GM velour where it looks dirty grey underneath the surface all the time, or the Corolla with the stains that won't come out.And I didn't make a mistake when I said pleather. The modern stuff is basically Bonded grade, like a cheap belt from walmart, and is the bottom grade, as opposed to real leather like Full Grain or Top Grain.
Cloth seats are so good. This is another example of richfags creating problems for themselves because the basic solution is good enough.
Maybe youre genuinely retarded
>>28871146>Cloth seats are so goodt. weeb
>>28871146this. leather seats are too hot/cold, so they need heaters and ventilation. but once you ventilate them the lose the “easy to clean” benefit.plus leather takes care to maintain, so they use plastic instead which feels like cheap shit but still has the heating and cooling issues.cloth seats really just are the best. shame nobody can admit it and focus on developing a nice high end version.
Maybe it's Maybelline
>>28871213/threadBut the retarded busriding LARPers here will continue to rip on you for having more than the basic 2 (two) braincells to rub against each other.Unfortunately, 1st world automobile production has become appliance-tier, so you won't see more thinking power invested in car interiors than you will encounter in the next Windows user interface "update".>inb4 China is also into this fake luxury for moneyed peasantsChina in 2020+6 is a first world country, their middle class is larger than all of North America combined.Real niggas know what pilot seats are made of
>>28870805I'm willing to forego fancy shit I actually want to avoid "leather" seats by choosing a lower trim. Slippery seats are retarded, I want the best ass traction possible when I'm bending my appliance around the on ramp tailgating an HVAC van.
>>28871213cloth and velour ftwif you've ever had the fortune of sitting on wool seats you'll probably never want to go back even to cloth though...ignorance is bliss
>>28870805Remember what they took from you.>>28870951Cloth and velour mog pu leather. It feels better on the skin and won't burn/freeze you in extreme temperatures like pu leather will.>>28870999>it's not leather OP it's plastic or plastic layeredThis and checked. Real leather, like tanned animal skin, is expensive. See how much leather apparel costs for comparison of what you should expect in price.
>velourYou guys can't be serious. Velour seats smell so bad once you sweat a bit on them that my dad had to cover all seats with cheap plastic.
>>28871021>"Automotive leather suppliers are sluts and whores"-Literally verbatim quote from the owner of Icon 4x4 owner Jonathan Ward, in one of his videosOP if you dont like leather just slap a seat cover on and stop your sperging. As a bonus the seat cover will preserve the leather for resale.
