My car is 5 years old now and it's really starting to make noise when I turn the wheel while stopped or going really slow. What is causing this and can I fix it without major surgery?
probably suspension bushings, cheap and you can do it yourself if you can be bothered.
5 years ago my car was 15 years and now its 20 but everyone is acting like their 5 year old car is in the same condition as mine. Seems like everyone is on the wagesloy conveyor belt of consumerism.
>>28871368>can I fix it without major surgeryyes but you might need to turn a wrench
>>28871370They salt the roads here with car melting acid. The body and underside of the car wears out before the engine does.
How the fuck are we supposed to know? We can't hear the sound or feel the wheel. It could be sway bushings, it could be the steering shaft ujoint (common on certain cars), it could be the end link bushings, who the fuck knows
your power steering belt could be slipping a little. Also you should check around the rack to see if theres any oil leaking. If there is then clean the shit out of it with degreaser. go for a ice cream, check to see if more oil has built up and check the fluid resevoir.
>>28871368Retards often don't fill up their power steering fluid and you seem a bit retarded
>>28871530>5 yo carUnlikely.
Nah ya nah, your car is absolutely fucked m8, gonna need a new one
mine is self lubricating
>>28871530Power steering fluid shouldn't ever need topping off. It's a closed loop.
