Ford is planning to bring back the Falcon Ute and sedans.

It'd be based on either the Mustang or Explorer platform and feature a pickup/ute, a sedan and likely a crossover and MSRP below German rear drive luxury sedans and body on frame trucks. Ford has been pushing for a four door Mustang based sedan since 2016 and even showed off prototypes and the success of the Maverick has reignited interest at Ford corporate for a low slung car based flat bed.

The last hurdle would be how to manufacture them profitably. It's likely that a combination of US and Mexico production will be selected featuring turbo I4, V6 and V8 options. Spain, Thailand and China are secondary production locations also likely to be selected for global markets. Jim Farley has personally been looking into the prospect of reigniting the Ford ute.
