Everyone always raving about the Jazz with a K swap.
What about a Note with a MR16 swap from a Juke Nismo?

most people don't like french cars
>>
People latch on to swaps that are already proven.
Will the transmission mate up? Will the engine fit without cutting the frame? Are there reasonable places to put new motor mounts? How do you integrate the wiring harnesses?
If you have a lot of time and money and are willing to take a chance that it won't work out then go for it.

You know what? Fuck you guys I'm gonna say it. If your car NEEDS an engine swap (and I don't mean a rebuilt engine) then it's a shitty car. Again I can understand needing to swap an engine for a rebuilt one but actually modifying the car to use one it wasn't intended to use is a good sign the car is fundamentally CRAP. That's right all your swapped miatas and toyobarus are dogshit that's why you felt the need to swap them. *cha-ching* Ten thousand down and your wallets been snatched TAKEN by your own vapid stupidity. Had you buffoons gotten a car that was already fast these ridiculous humiliation ritual swaps would've never happened.

You don't get excited about someone creating something insane? You can appreciate fast stock cars and wild Frankensteins, it's not a mutually exclusive thing.

What a boring person

My favourite non-traditional swap is a honda D16 into a classic mini, there's whole kits for it. Would be such an amazing drive, they have great transmissions. This one makes 160hp
>>
I'm telling you guys, budget Nissans are slept on.
They make fast engines and well handling cars, they just don't mate those engines to those cars.
Gotta do the job for them, but then you have something fast and special

Budget nissans haven't existed since the 90s
They're either expensive rear wheel drive cars or french shitboxes that Renault deems too crappy to sell under their main brand

F4R into a Mk2 Twingo is reasonably well known among the small Mk2 Twingo community but not particularly well known to others. Putting 200+ HP into a car that weighs less than 1000 kg and is smaller than a Miata makes it pretty spicy.

I think I'd rather modify the suspension of a ford v6 meme-stang or a chevy v6 meme-aro than go through the trouble of a full engine swap on a car with "jdm" tax (it's not even jdm it's left hand drive wtf) if I were to make a track car. and I don't even like 90% of american cars. I dunno what the cheap rwds are for european countries though who knows maybe the nissans are cheaper in those countries.

Putting a nissan 4cyl into a french subcompact is not creating anything insane, aside from the mind of one who would choose to do such a thing

or you could simply buy a car with a fast engine and good handling, e.g. not a budget nissan
