is Honda stupid? why would they cancel one of the best looking cars of all time
>>
>>28875547
If that's good looking to you then you are blind and retarded. Never step foot in a design board meeting so we don't get more ugliness in the world

it's a gallardo station wagon
it's fucking awesome
>>
Is this your first time seeing a concept car?
Regulations wouldn't allow it to look like that.
>>
>>28875547
Concept cars aren't real anon.
Like nigga, open your eyes

>Honda has also struggled in Asia, where there has been a “decline in the competitiveness of Honda products”. The company blamed consumer wants “shifting from hardware features, such as fuel efficiency and cabin space, to software-based features that will continuously advance according to customer preferences”.

>It said it was at a disadvantage to react to this, due to new EV manufacturers in China that can “leverage their short product development cycles” to shift scope quickly depending on demand, which has “intensified the competition”.

china would decimate the us market if its cars were sold here

Afeela my cock in your ass.
No wonder why this shit is posting losses...
So much waiting and hype for:

-a FWD piece of shit reskin of a Civic but costs more for no reason
-world's dullest EV that looks like a Lucid but isn't nearly as fast
-a rebadged Chebby Blazer
-everything else is an old body from 20 years ago with a lawnmower 2L engine
-oh, yes, that cute looking EV that is the only good looking thing they did recently? No, we won't sell that in the US

a lot of concept cars are basically just creative exercises for the design team with no actual plan to produce.

Only on price, because our household economy is in the shitter. They would be cheap, but have terrible life cycles. People would put up with them because it’s all they could afford, and deal with repairs, broken bits, and loss of functions until it finally died with only scrap resale value. A disposable car market, essentially. I’m glad we don’t allow that crap in. China is not Japan from the 70s. They have had honor bred out of them by Communists and want to screw people over as much as possible while doing the least amount of work.

just sell more lawnmowers EZ just saved the company

Ok but when was the last time you saw a domestic car over 10 years old on the road that wasn't a truck

The bigger issue is the US market is built on a profit/dividends first system. This prevents them lowering the price and protecting their own market from external competition. Look what happened in India with Suzuki, India, whose economy is all shitter, had no significant domestic manufacturers, so Suzuki went in and started domestic production, which kept prices low and they now own ~50% of the market*. Nobody cares if they breakdown because parts are cheap and readily available. Per unit their margin is smaller but when you own half the country you're making up for it in volume of sales.

The US already has the advantage of a robust domestic production chain but the concept of lowering prices to stave off external competition is legally lost. The only way to protect the 'free-market' from external competition is by legally restricting competitors and propping up the domestic industry with subsidies. Meanwhile, China/BYD are poised to buy the Nissan plant in Mexico and setup production there. Once they do the only way the US can stop Temu from flooding the market would be to stop drivers who purchased their cars in Mexico from crossing the border.

*In the US this is the equivalent of GM, Toyota and Ford combined.

You should be angry that Honda totally neutered their cool little prototype before production.

The original looked great, then they removed everything cool about it: the stance, the roofline, the front end, and made it a generic looking little hatch.

Then they wondered why it didn't sell.
>>
>>28876472
It didn't sell because it was retardedly expensive, and it had a hilariously small battery, even by citybox standards.
>>
>>28876482
but it's cute

>why would they cancel one of the best looking cars of all time
Because that car is 100% incompatible with 2020s pedestrian safety standards.
It would break the pedestrian's knees and then crack his skull with the glass windshield.
Supercars can still look like this because they do not have to obey the same standards but a "normal" car like that would have been absolutely does.

Regarding electric vehicles Honda should replace their management with a magic 8 ball, because a magic 8 ball is only wrong half the time.

Looks like they just took the Cybertruck design and made a Cybercar

most new cars look like a 4 year old making a fish out of playdough then microwaving it, so its an upgrade at least
