I'd pick the BMW just because manual, and it looks much better. I've always wanted to drift a long-wheelbase gigantic-engined car, I see that wheelbase and all I can think about is powersliding.

That's when Mercedes stopped really innovating and their interiors fell behind in design, then things got worse by 1998 when they had that shitty onions based wiring that would rot or get eaten by mice within a year and led to mass recalls and abandoning that wiring by 2002 (original intent was for it to breakdown over 20 years since that's when they figured their cars would get recycled). There was also the disaster of water based paint on mid 90s Mercedes too and that lasted until the mid 2000s, which caused a lot of C Class models to develop serious rust issues and fucked up paint work.
