Is this a good sedan EV to get? Tesla doesn't really interest me.
>>
I dunno.
They look nice

They do. And the 2024 refresh that unfucked the car and made it RWD is now dropping fast in price.
>>
Test drove one today. Fucking hell its cabin visibility is dog shit.

the only good ev besides tesla are gook's

I have an ioniq 6 and would recommend checking it out
>>

The Ioniq 6 is everything I want minus a hatchback trunk and Hyundai's inability to properly adress the ICCU issues. If they had done that, it would be a top choice for me. Maybe the ICCU is way blown up by the Internet but if it was, Hyundai could easily quench the fires by assuring to fix the issues without valid warranty.

I had one for a while and it is horrendous in many ways
>Rear can only sit 2, there is a GIANT transmission tunnel hump that makes it uncomfortable to sit in the middle unless you spread you legs really wide
>range is terrible for it's price range, weight and size
>max charge rate is 150kw, would take over 45 minutes to go from 0-80%
>ride is really harsh, almost Tesla Model 3 harsh
>No Apple Carplay or Android Auto, the car infotainment runs on a native Android ui called Android Automotive that you can't really connect with your phone. It's basically the same as having a tablet on your car
>Trunk space is the same as the gasoline car it was based on, and there is no usable front trunk
>Costs more than any of it's segment competitors while not having any advantage over them
>The tank-like driving feel you get from it is really bad, somehow it doesn't feel as planted as EVs usually do and feels like it's about to understeer all the time
>camaro level visibility
It looks rather good and the navigation on the gauge cluster is really nice, but that's about all good things about it. For the price of this you can get an Ioniq 5 Limited or an EV6 GT-Line which are leaps and bounds better EVs and better cars in general.

Was this a pre 2024 model you drove? Because a lot of those issues have been fixed, but not all. Max charge now is I believe 200kW and they added both AA and Car Play. The refresh also has a fairly decent frunk and a bottom section in the trunk with lots of space. They also fixed the range issues in the facelift with 533/630km WLTP depending on battery version.

But yeah it does have that tank feel which is common for lots of Volvo cars and not as nimble and rapid as you'd want an EV to be. Visibility is also poor and those are its two main flaws. It does feel more luxurious than Tesla, insurance is way cheaper and the battery warranty is generous.

I've had my MY26 for about 7 months and I'm pretty happy with it, it's an LRSM with Plus, Pilot, Climate and the zinc leather interior. It's had a few improvement for the 26 refresh, charge rate goes up to 205kw, there's a new snapdragon chip in the infotainment and it's really snappy. It drives okay considering the weight, RWD and low center of gravity helps a bit but it still feels like a tank, can't fool anyone with a 2.2T curb weight. The interior is really nice, only one in its price range that doesn't have creaky door handles and center console, Mercs and bimmers had awful interiors in comparison.

worst thing is that they handed the software development over to infosys, the jeetiest of jeet dev companies. tho the software is so bad that idk how the jeets can shit it up more
>>
>>28879661
Isn't the software just Google Automotive? Not sure how you can fuck that up.
>>

That color is sexo. Are you rolling with 20 inchers? Its tanky attributes feel 100% like a Volvo trademark. The i4 is also heavy as fuck but is light on steering due to Bimmer being Bimmer.
>>
it's just a rebadged GKDIHEL from wish.com
>>
>>28879711
standard 19" but the flat face design makes them look larger. yeah to its credit the i4 felt lighter on its feet overall, it's a better driver but the range is amongst the worst even with the larger battery

I would get a lucid instead if I were in the market for an expensive ev sedan

They are pretty clean looking. They just need smaller wheels, has anyone done that? Those wheels are so fucking big its looks moronic.

>a Polestar 2 thread with a Ioniq 6 recommendation
Excellent taste.
>>
>>28880514
I will never understand why these EV manufacturers insist on minimum 19' wheels. Is it a weight issue? I think the car weighs like a tank. Still, 18' would still look great, give more range and less cabin noise.
>>
It will be mine soon enough. I'l leave a review here
>>
polestar except wagon
>>
Ordered mine now, delivery soon.
>>
I settled for a lease, /o/. Used prices on 2024 models are just too high. Might aswell just lease new under warranty when dealing with such huge sums.
>>
Just buy a used karma, if you want rare jank with no service support then really lean in
>>

What the hell is this? Never seen one in my life.
