Here’s your Corv-ACK
>>28880272>sue their asses >insurance gives you another car anyways It's a win win in my books.
>>28880296Don't forget the damages for lack of transport. You'd infact have more. Now, if this was a special car or a cool car you can't get anymore like a jdm then there's heartbreak to be had
>>28880298pretty sure there's more "JDM" on earth than there are the entire production run of corvettes since 53. tons of right hand drive fart canned base model skylines to go around till the heat death of the universe.
>>28880344I see 5+ c8s every single day I drive for 30 minutes round trip and it was the same way with the c7 and c6. I've seen 2 skylines in my life.
>>28880344You can still buy a c8, you can't do that for [insert jdm here] New cars don't matter, only discontinued cars do.
>>28880350Most people don't give a shit about skylines, less known importing them. doesn't mean they aren't a dime a dozen. tons of broke ass hispanic dudes can easily go through an importing agent to get one. you can easily get any of these unremarkable shitboxes if you wanted to. even on a Mcdonald's salary. the C8 is actually more expensive than the average skyline, and would hurt your bank account far more to lose.>>28880354You can still buy most JDM shitboxes. only the top trim models are rare. base model skylines, silvias, poopras, are all a dime a dozen.
>>28880365You can't buy those off the lot. They're finite. You dense cunt.
>>28880370as finite as oil. you won't run out of them in your life time.
>rotary lift>lifting anything other than Mazdas
What exactly was "the goal" here
>>28880412car go up
>>28880365>Most people don't give a shit about skylinesLmao
>>28880390>rotary lift>rotates carWorking as usual.
>>28880420Looks like success to me!
>>28880466until it goed down, yes
>>28880443feel free to go outside and ask random people if they even know what a skyline is let alone give a shit.
>>28880390
>>28880471Nooo, I just do uppies
>>28880481gravity sometimes has other plansgotta give it the shove test before you take it all the way up
>>28880298Strong attachments to worldly physical objects is bad. Be it a house, clothing or automobile, It's not a good thing to be so attached to such things
>>28880365Dont bother talking to JDM fags. They live in their own little fantasy world outside of reality. They're like fentanyl zombies on skid row. You'd have a more productive conversation chatting with a squirrel at the park.
>>28880671It's fine if it's special to you for personal reasons. It's not if you care only because other retards astroturfed it so you convince yourself you also have to like it.
>>28880296>have to pay for a lawyer>have to deal with insurance>all of that hassle and headache>a winConfirmed for never having to deal with the legal system or insurance in your life. Only a moron thinks dealing with insurance or legal is a "win".
>>28880753Get better insurance and a better lawyer poorfag. Why do brown poor sons like yourself feel the need to interject?
>>28880272>On today's episode of most intelligent Texans
>>28880758Shut your stupid ass up, nigger. Insurance always sucks to deal with, they make a business of having you pay for something and not getting to use it so they make you fight. Stupid tiresome subhuman.
>>28880841Sometimes but in a case like this you send them this photo and the details, they will gladly try their best to fleece the shop's insurance as hard as possible.
>>28880671I could see how you'd come to that conclusion if you're a penny less hippy who has never breached past surface level connection with what you own. Even the Buddha had a favored gown when enlightened, never forget that.
>>28880746Also well said, there's superficial attachment and then there's profound attachment. The former being cringe and the later being based.
>50-50 weight distribution is overrat-
if this is a GM service warehouse typically they will tell you not to notify police or insurance. They will then give you a brand new one off the lot. If its too old for that, they will just pay you off. Its a legit win
>>28882728>brand new oneYeah bro let me just cancel my insurance for my secretly wrecked car and insure/register a car I have no documentation paying for that won't raise any red flags, nope. Just magically gifted a new unregistered car. Trying to turn me into the next Al Capone buddy? Nice try with the fraud but I ain't falling for it.
>>28882765it's just labeled as a recall dumbass the car had a "defect" and was "recalled" simple as
>>28880841Aww he's mad. Impulse control, brownoid.
>>28882765your bus pass doesnt need insurance calm down aunty
>>28882765i dont think its illegal to insure two cars of the same make and model, or to not claim damage.
>>28880272>americar handling
>>28883743I have 2 cars of the same make and model.I think other anon was implying more about the lack of a paper trail, which would obviously be handled by the dealer so it's a non-issue. Anons example was just a short hand version of possible events that dipshit couldnt grasp because every stage wasnt laid out and explained in detail.
>>28880272How does that even happen?
>>28882765Is your reading comprehension that bad or are you just retarded?
>>28880671>Strong attachments to worldly physical objects is bad. Be it a house, clothing or automobilei REALLY love owning my own house, Nearly twenty years to pay it off and now it's my own private space. It's the fucking best. Would sell all of my other possessions to keep it, if I had to. But I've only got five cars. Maybe I need more.
>>28880272>>28880450
>>28887808You need at least seven, one for each day of the week.
>>28884400Checked and they didn’t realize how heavy the back is and are used to engines in the front. The C8 can’t be that unbalanced can it?
>>28884400My guess is there's supposed to be special lifting pucks with pins that fit into the lifting points and make it impossible to slide. I bet they just used the standard rubber pads and put them in the wrong place and one of them slipped. Looks like it would be pretty easy to miss the lift point and put all the weight on a carbon skid plate which is not going to end well.
>>28880272He's got the lift pucks installed.GM just sucks at making cars. You can follow the directions to a T and the cars are still unbalanced as fuck.American engineering, my fucking sides.
>>28888979>Someone hit themselves in the head with a hammer, therefore the hammer sucks 3/10 bait
>>28880671>Be it a houseif i had a house of my own i would cling to that shit like my life depended on it and give it to my kids when i die. fuck blackrock and every other investment firm and rent seeker who squats on 20 vacant houses because nobody can afford their outrageous rates. but im never gonna own a house and im never gonna have kids so what can you do.
>>28880272That's why I don't trust those lifts with only two points of contact. You need four, always.
>>28880671t. Has nothing of real importance
>>28880272See your plastic car and raise you a largely aluminium one
>>28880272>???too far back and its weight balance made it slip ?not the worst lift fail I've seen
