What caused this?

Probably the weight shift from the incline changes and slight turning and maybe a goose of the throttle led to one rear wheel losing grip then getting all the power and driver didn't respond.
Assuming it's RWD open diff.
You could've cut the 90% of the vid for this question or given a time to go to.

RWD with LSD

Post the webm and I'll tell you.

Oh, huh. Let me watch it again, but with sound.
IDK, could be lift off oversteer. Or weight shift got one wheel to spin and the lsd locked both and the driver didn't commit.
Right before it spins there's a moment of hesitation, like a gear shift, maybe the sudden slowdown + torque impulse from letting out the clutch + slight weight imbalance from the turn spun the tires? It's hard to say without seeing the driver's controls but those are my speculations.
>>
It's a yaw spin from the bank and elevation transition due to whatever the driver did when going through it. Without seeing how the wheel and pedals were being used I can't be specific.
Driver is quite obviously learning/new/needs training in race driving, so really the full vid is helpful for providing context.
Very unsmooth inputs, odd timing and lines, loading the tires to point of squeal even though "warming up"

I >think< I see a poor steering transition and abrupt braking input or similar drivetrain shock but again can't be sure.

Oh great, another accident video that's 3 minutes of driving and 3 seconds of a rather unimpressive off-road excursion. Fuck is wrong with these people? Are they so insecure about their driving that they need to put in a length of video showing that "hey guys, I totally don't always crash, I swear, look how good I was doing before I made the boo boo!". Just a 10 or 20 second lead up to the crash is fine, and maybe another 10 or 20 seconds after to let the dust settle, that's all.
>>
>>28885421
3 minutes is just the chunks the dashcam records in, its not that deep chief
>>
>>28885422
YouTube lets you cut it down when you upload, it's not that difficult, champ.

My regular job is basically, official incident report box ticker.

Checkmark on Driver Loss of Control

Cunt went proper sideways and back around again.
>>
Panic throttle lift shifts the weight forward and off the rear wheels, add a steering impulse in the same moment and you go around
Type of car doesn't matter here, if you did the same thing in a hot hatch or a mid-engined sportscar you probably would have ended up in the same spot off track
>>28885415
Agree, it's all a bit sloppy, you really notice it at the corner exits as he unwinds the steering lock

Don't want to be too mean about it but if you don't really know where you're going, especially over crests, these things just happen unless you get some instruction
Or at least do some passenger laps to get a feel for the track and what inputs have to be smooth and controlled

mcdonalds struts, open diff and a slushbox with warped rotors.
>>
>>28885531
double wishbones front and rear, LSD, manual. idk about the rotors tho

Open dif causes this?

Combination of both of these I think. He lifts off before cresting the hill, starts to slide, and seemingly does nothing to correct it.
>>
Combination of lift oversteer and suspension rebound at the perfect moment.

Happens to the best of us. I had suspension rebound at 144mph and changed lanes without turning the wheel once.
>>
>>28885339
At time 2:30 to see how it went this way, OP is a faggot and didn't copy the link with the time code.
>>
>>28885339
That was boring as shit.
>>
>>28885339
The driver is obviously a novice based on how he entered the track like a retard.
He was completely off line.
His car is probably on all seasons or equally shitty tires as well.
I'd assume a super heavy modern car since they oversteer kept going.

Tfw we're so old now that Team Rocket jokes feel boomer tier to kids.
>>
>accelerated into corner over a crest
>while cresting the hill panics and brakes hard enough to upset car
>spin
>>
Lift off oversteer aggravated by the cars momentum pushing it in the direction of the hill that was just climbed.
>>
In summary: ran out of talent
>>
>>28885339
get good tires and put a giant wing to keep the rear tires planted
>>
>>28885339
What kind of car is that so I know what not to buy. It looks like a truck or a SUV would be more entertaining to drive than this shitty handling snore fest.
>>
>>28885339
The driver.
>>
>>28886380
From his other video it's a Z, and it mostly looks like shit because he doesn't know how to drive it.
>>
You drive like shit. Practice on the sim. You can sorta feel the weight shifts with your inputs.
