Imagine making a supercar with a 3.3 l 660 hp V12 made of 3 1100 cc 220 hp bike V4s
>>
>282ft lbs of torque
>>
>>28886559
you're stupid, the only problem aprilia has is lack of motogp victories and reliability
>>
>>28886575
Supercars aren't tractors
>>
>>28886584
Supercars should more torque than a v6 challie
>>

>I want something engaging, manual, completely driver focused, god tier NA with an exhaust note to match the compositions of John Powell, affordable to the point anyone with a job can buy one, a skill ceiling I can work toward for the rest of my life, a
>Carfags: NOOOOO NOT LIKE THAT ITS NOT SAFE
>>
>>28886597
I feel like what you're describing is basically something akin to an Ariel Atom V8, only more exotic. That car wasn't exactly affordable to the masses. Sounds like what you want (V12 'supercar') would be even further out of reach.
>>
>>28886581
Well they're not going to have the gp win problem for much longer lol. I personally feel like they've had a competitive bike since 2022, you just can't count on the Asparagus Brothers or Maverick to be consistently fast. When Bez started turning up the heat second half of last season I was completely unsurprised.

What I am surprised about is how in the era of efficiency efficiency efficiency, we don't see naturally aspirated cars with hood scoops to take advantage of ram air for highway mileage. I know it's not that effective at 60 MPH but I reckon it would add up.
>>
>>28886584
The best ones kinda were

I'm not describing a "car"
>>
>>28887303
Bruh you literally said supercar in your post
>>
>>28887324
Anon isn't the op
>>
>>28886687
The ram air probably causes a net negative energy efficiency when compared to having less drag and cleaner airflow over the front of the car.

my bad
>>
>>28886559
GMA T.50 pretty much is. The engine specs basically are 3x busa engine. That it manages to do that while passing car emissions is impressive.
>>
>>28886559
if im riding highway, why am I getting this instead of a super Duke
>>
>>28886559
Yeah but what if it was a 4.4l V16?
>>
>>28886597
I don’t get why we can’t have cheap cars with a near sportbike power/weight ratio. is it really all safety regs?
no way a hayabusa weighs 600lbs, costs $20k and seats 2 but no one can make a coupe that with the same power and price for only a few hundred extra pounds.

Closest thing you can get are kit cars
>>
>>28889369
because the cost to maintenance ratio for something like that is absurd. sport bike engines and clutches do not last very long. everything on those bikes is a consumable
>>
>>28886594
>should more torque
Retard, plz.
>>
>>28889369
it's emissions regs. the smaller and lighter a vehicle is, the higher fuel economy it has to achieve by law. so you can have a massive truck with a 7 liter v8 that gets 12mpg but if you make a 600hp coupe that weighs 2000 pounds and is the size of a miata getting 25mpg, you can't sell it
>>
>>28890318
And thats just pushing around 600 pounds of machine.
100k miles on a camry is equal to 25k on a GSXR.
Imagine rebuilding your little sports coupe (thats slower than a tesla) after 50k miles.
The only thing ICE has going for it any more is longevity.
Not to mention
>660hp
So 20% less HP than a Hellcat (?)
>>
>>28891179
>So 20% less HP than a Hellcat (?)
The whole car would weigh less than 1500lb you dumb gorilla nigger
>>
>>28891182
Youre beyond stupid.
How much do you think your V12 is going to weigh?
Ill help you out a little bit.

A complete ZX10R motor is about 180 pounds.
Without the weight of the gearbox youre still looking at about 130 pounds.
So you're looking at almost 400 pounds for 3x.
A fully dressed aluminum LS1 is about 475 pounds

Did you think motorcycles have some magic design that defy the laws of physics?
>>
>>28886559
Still slower than a Tesla econobox kek
>>
>>28886584
Detomaso Panera bread was
>>
>>28886575
does that matter when your engine weighs under 200 kilos?

Big auto doesn't want you to know this but you can just put motorcycle heads on your car engines
>>
>>28892484
Here's a sub 1300lb car with 2x bike engines, and you're telling me adding 180lb to 1300 will be more than 1500?
https://www.kitcar-trader.co.uk/mk-sportcars-for-sale/mk-indy-zx10r2
Fucking dumbass retard, try researching shit before you embarrass yourself yeah?
>>
>>28893224
Youre a dumbfuck.
Nothing you've posted has proven my math incorrect.
>>
>>28893237
OK retard. Keep believing 1300 + 180 is more than 1500
>>
>>28893365
nta you'd probably have to add more than 20lbs of structure to fit the third engine in there. not that it wouldn't improve your power to weight ratio
>>
>>28893365
How fucking stupid are you?
When did I ever mention 1300 or 1500?
