your driving skills is bottlenecked by how fast you can corner in a cloverleaf ramp

My skill is bottlenecked by how fast the driver in front of me can do it.

>scrub needs a large long constant radius bend so he can gradually creep up on the limit
This is how I know you have no idea how to actually drive fast

Try looking more closely at OP's image.

The icon for this very website is a 4-leaf clover.

Yeah they have late apexes on the on-ramps, early on the off-ramps. Those on-ramps look are fun as hell and there's zero fear of getting arrested for fucking around on them.

Ah yes, Fukushima.
The gift that keeps on giving.

>>28887305
bonus points if they fucking stop because they don't know how to merge with faster traffic
>>
>>28887387
Ah, yes. I remember many moons ago, the first time I saw a retard merg at barely half the speed limit and nearly get assholed by a third Axel. I thought to myself there that they must be the dumbest motherfucker to have ever driven upon this earth. Now it happens almost every time I merge. We are truly witnesses to the downfall of civilization.

I regularly get tailed on exit ramps for going too slowly. I have a cuckover. I'm not gonna go fast, sorry Mr. Pickup. Pickup trucks manage to defy the laws of physics.
>>
I use straight ramps to floor the gas and clean my engine out a little bit. Lot of stop and go city traffic. I also change my oil every 3k miles.

The radius of that turn is ~50m
I've got an exit near me of the same size.
It's a blind corner with a posted limit of 40mph, I'll take it at ~50mph if it's quiet but wouldn't push 60mph without clear vision, which it lacks.
>>
>>28886808
The fuck are you talking about? An on ramp is the easiest thing to navigate because they're always extremely consistent, wide, banked turns.
You don't need to know any of the fundamentals to be able to test the limit of a car turning on those.

Why are on/off ramps in Colorado so needlessly dangerous?
>>
>>28886808
>my driving skills are bottlenecked by which shitbox I'm currently driving
This doesn't make sense. I'm not any less of a skilled driver in my trugg than I am in my "sporty" car, although I can take the same ramp much faster in the car.
I can throw some retard in something like a high-spec Lamborghini and the AWD + nannies + fat tires will be more than forgiving enough to take the ramp faster than 99.9% of traffic. Does that make said retard a more skilled driver?
>>
>>28890380
then why does everyone end up trying to merge on the highway at 25mph at the end of them?

Yeah, I have a crown Vic and can usually take a cloverleaf on-ramp at 45-50mph easily.

Always makes me wonder what kind of performance people are really getting out of sports cars. Like, if you have a Miata or a Corvette can you really take that turn at 80 or 90mph? If not, then what's the point of a sports car?

>Sub-tonne roadster with street-legal semi-slicks.
Fantastic, found my playground to ensure even wear.
>>
>>28890727
Because normies going slow doesn't mean that going fast makes you any sort of skilled driver.

>found my playground to ensure even wear.
Can you even read the road? The only turn is clockwise.

>if you have a Miata or a Corvette can you really take that turn at 80 or 90mph? If not, then what's the point of a sports car?
Without a dash cam they wouldn't be able to tell you, they're driving at what 'feels' fast without looking at the gauge. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, eyes on the road and all...

>late apexes on the on-ramps, early on the off-ramps.
The opposite is correct though.
.t do endurance racing

It's a lucky cloverleaf. When you hit the ramp, close your eyes and make a wish
