>>28889867Grey primer is porous and doesn't last. Within a few months the UV will cause it to fade and become chalky. If you've put it over filler and metal moisture to get through and it will fail. Better to paint your car in flat gray enamel paint which is designed for being a topcoat. Been there done that with black primer.

>>28889867It's always hated on, but it's nowhere near as prevalent as fleet-spec NPC white. I rarely actually see these "nardo" or "battleship" gray cars IRL, whereas every last Santa Fe, Corolla, X5 and Model 3 is always white. Not even that classy pearlescent white you used to see, either.
