I have a 2024 hybrid base model. Wanted the most reliable vehicle I could find that had a bit of ground clearance and good gas mileage. It does provide that.The power train is decent. Everything else surrounding it is cheap garbage. I’ve had it for 1.5 years and it’s developed more rattles than any car I’ve ever driven. Made in Canada by dips from India I’m sure. It had no rattles when I bought it. The door slam is cringe. The door handles are cringe. The seats are ok. The gear shifter is cringe. Overall just a cringe vehicle i should have saved my money and got a panther. I do like not paying for much gas tho and not having to worry about breaking down.

Will take you from A to B reliably for 20 years without a fuss. Maintenance is cheap and simple on the gas one that we have, the oil filter is in a slightly cramped space. It gets like 30 mpg or something.It's boring, kind of expensive now I think (we paid like $30k out the door for a new XLE in 2019), but toyota sells millions of these things and they're reliable low-maintenance transportation which is exactly what I wanted to get for my wife.
