Sweet! I can't wait to see half a dozen shill threads up at the same time talking about how much it "mogs" and "owns" the trucks from the Big Three and Toyota. Note that these gookshills never actually post any evidence of themselves owning a car.
Hell, Toyota keeps shooting themselves in the foot so fucking hard it might actually be better than a Tundra, which says something.

The only upsides would be the diesel engine and the single cab. Engine will 100% not be allowed in the US due to emissions standards, and the single cab won't happen because most of our truck buyers are fat people with fat children that want a truck to be used as a Goyim and Goyim Accessories Transport Unit™ instead of a pickup truck. So this will have an underpowered v6/electric drivetrain with tons of pain points, and will just end up being a high-apr finance vehicle in five years after they discontinue it.

It's ugly as sin but it's body on frame so that is a plus.

Not when you're buying a $40k vehicle. I want that shit to be perfect
>>
>>28892684
that's not really that much money especially for a trugg
I fully agree Kia could use a new family of engines, but I think we should just be happy to have more competition in the truck space to improve overall quality. Competition drives innovation and the small trugg market is stagnant. The reviews I read for the Tacoma say it drives poorly and is cramped inside, so it's not hard to improve on that.
>>
>>28892686
I'm an end consumer though man. The state of the industry does not matter at all to an end consumer. Besides, there hasn't been real innovation in most cars for some time, even with loads of competition. It may not be much money relative to other trucks, but it's a ton of cash to drop on something that breaks down and blows up. You'd have a much better and cheaper experience buying an older truck, and I reckon these will not sell well at all for that exact reason.
>>
>>28892689
The compact pickup market is especially stagnant because of the extreme tariffs holding it down.
I don't think it's going to break down or blow up, the issue is just more the engines are kinda weak and rough, but that's an issue Toyota has too.

however ugly you think these things are i promise you they are worse in real life.

Electricity is around 3 to 5 cents per KWh around here. Meanwhile truckolds are paying $5/gal for diesel and making 15mpg, it’s hilarious.
>>
>>28892701
this is largely to do with America excessively taxing diesel though
>>
>>28892202
I'd prefer the body on frame pickup that Kia's military wing produces.

Because it's the Kaiser Jeep M715 with a diesel.

no one has electricity that cheap unless you have a long term contract in an industrial area. fast chargers are 10x that

need not apply. simply charge at home. you are a homeowner, aren't you?

the average price per kwh in the US is 18 cents. the price in some random place at some random time isn't relevant
