Porsche 718 Boxter or Miata MX-5?
>>28892551>USD $30-40k car vs $80-170k turbo carI'll take the MX-5 Club (the trim with LSD) for $33k thank you.

>>28892551If you're comparing an early 2000s Boxter to NAs and some NBs the prices aren't far apart. I've thought about it but cost/ease of maintenance and reliability, I'm inclined to pick the Mazda.
>>288927241,405–1,535 kg curb weight vs. MX-5 ND's 990kg (+50kg for the hard top) Not even the same ballpark.
>>28892551Miata is lighter and more raw feeling, Boxter will be nicer on long drives, but there's no bad choices here. I recommend you drive both before making a choice. Also Miata doesn't fit very tall people.
>>28892551Price wise, they're really not in the same ball park. That said, the Miata is a fantastic car. I'd easily recommend it to anyone who enjoys the act of driving, or sightseeing with the wife if you live somewhere with nice roads
