i like the F40 better, but only because of its story. it's only one notch above a kit car, but that's part of the charm.
The F50 feels way more special. It would look equally proper parked outside fancy restaurant or tearing up a windy road along the Mediterranean. A lot of the hype around the F40 is from nostalgic 30-40 year olds and youngsters who parrot Jeremy Clarkson and his "muh engine feels like it's bolted to your spine" line. The F50 is goated, it's the definitive exotic car.
