Is it really the greatest sports car?
>>
/o/non, you can find enjoyment in almost any car. If you can't then youre not really a car enthusiast, you're just a clout chaser.

pretty sure it drives like a rear engine car but don't quote me on that

the 911 occupies an interesting place in the sports car market. they make enough of them to be reasonably reliable and not pretentious like a ferrari but not so common as a bmw. surprisingly they all drive with very similar handling characteristics and steering feel, the awd versions all feel a little more isolated in steering but with better overall traction while the 2wd versions have more steering feel. ive never felt traction limited in a 2wd carrera even in winter or wet conditions though. you should try one. they're very versatile as a 2+2 even if you have a wife and small kids. plus theyve done a good job of keeping the styling consistent so you know what youre getting regardless of the trim level and options. go drive one and see what you think.
>>
Only a select few 911s are great, the rest are dentist status mobiles . Own the below or own none at all.

OP, this is what I was talking about. This is what happens when your brain is full of influencers and clout chasing.
Track cars and sports cars are not the same thing.
Track cars of any brand kinda suck to drive on the street.
Decide what YOU want out of your sports car and recognize that it's probably not a track build.

The GT3 RS was fun, though I wouldn't bother buying one if I could. Think my might prefer my nephew's 997, tbqh.
>>
>>28893549
This is poor cope, can't afford a gt3 lmao
>>
>>28893553
Dumbass I could've bought any model I wanted but since I don't drive on tracks I picked a version that worked better on US roads. Stop being retarded.

Grow the fuck up.

>>28893643
Agreed.
The backseats are HIGHLY underrated by terminally online incels.
>>
>>28893673
This, sometimes I wish I had rear seats to put my mother back there, but it was absurd to buy a 997 over a C7 Corvette
>>
>>28893840
I cant speak to your specific circumstances but having back seats where my wife's girlfriends could still fit (no hamplanets allowed) on a night out has been a very choice consideration.
Your mileage may vary.

>>28893673

The back seats are just useless for anyone bigger than a small child

Just get a SEDAN, like an E28 M5, E39 530i, LCI E90 M3 Competition or N54 335i, F10 M5 Competition, W124, W126, W140, or W201 already godsDAMN

>>28893840

c7s are too ugly to consider in the first place

It's absurd to buy an ugly c7 over a beautiful C5 or C6
>>

You act like it's special, it's literally a McDonald's strutted v6 with a slushbox. I think they made 1 manual and it was slow as fuck with a plastic shift linkage. Just get a 2003 nigsann 350z if you're dead set on v6 power. Good luck little wrenchlet ricer.
