Van but good
>>28894033>ShinagawaNot the flex you think it is.
>>28894025today i saw a blue one covered in gay autism puzzle piece stickers. must have been one of you guys.
>>28894025already become popular as tradie vans here. mostly because it is what it is. but some, the increasing number of zoomer tradies who gives no fucks abuot cars, doesnt care about tow rating or range, only do their job in the city, they want one of these. work on weekdays, take your gf to a restaurant on weekends.
>>28894173these are paid by the company obviously...
>>28894025I saw this irl it's cute I like it
>>28894025Why did Brazil stop making the clearly superior Volkswagen?
>>28894188in my previous job, the guy who replaceded me demanded an id buzz and got it. i quit because i couldnt handle it. i rent myself back to them but then im not part of their enviromrntal plan, HR or whatever. im just a tool with a fuckhuge transit 4x4.
>>28894025Is that supposed to be a Kombi?
>>28894025Saw one a few days ago. As with everything else an OLD WHITE MAN owned it an was driving it
there's two big issues hereone:VW bus is an MEB platform creation, which largely was shoehorned into their portfolio after "dieselgate" as a compliance measure, so they didn't put much effort into it, and it is an older design, the interiors are absolute crap, of course there's no real buttons (too expensive) and the driving dynamics are poor as welltwo:from the beginning of the bus announcement VW said they would put a larger battery in this big vehicle, which makes sense, but they still have not done so, so the effective range is quite short
without the paint job this just looks like a minivan to me
>>28894543Range is shitty for a car in this price class.Other MEB cars have the same battery, but are lighter and more aerodynamic.
>>28894025Volkswagen can charge so much because there's been basically zero competition when it comes to a le quirky electric minivan/MPV. Other manufacturers were too focused on shitting out soulless electric SUVs. Fortunately KIA is coming to the rescue and the PV5 is priced at 40% less than the ID Buzz. https://youtu.be/ZaFN8VwtbBY
>>28894545it is a minivan
>>28894025I'd unironically love to have one but they are so crazy overpriced. I feel there's a lot to like otherwise
>>28894688i mean minivans are practical
>>28894621> the throwback to the dustbuster vans no one asked for
>>28894621except they can't and it's why the stopped selling in the US and world wide sales are laughable. WAYYYYYY overshot the market of poor hippies love for these things.
>>28894025its a e golf wagon or id.4 or .jpeg whatever the fuck theyre calling it, with a box welded on top
it would be a hit at half the price
>>28894029It was supposed to be a practical, utilitarian family hauler and MPV. Had it been offered with the standard 4 cylinder turbo that VW shoves in everything, and at a price range of $25-35k, they might've actually sold more than a few examples. The demographic that the original VW vans were marketed towards couldn't afford these, and most people that can afford them (at $60k+) while still needing a family vehicle are more likely to end up in a Tahoe, Telluride or Highlander over some gimmicky EV, let alone a minivan like a Sienna that literally costs $20k+ less.
>>28894995yeah the average car is now 50k or something now. new minivans are say 30-50k, I feel like this vw would do okay at the higher end of that due to the novelty (more fun that a pure soccermom minivan).
>>28894995>It was supposed to be a practical, utilitarian family hauler and MPVIt hasn't been that ever since it became an icon.
