>>28894630Why would you need a manual transmission in an EV?You only need several gears because the rpm range of the engine is much smaller than the range of speeds you want to drive.If the motor can cover the whole range, you don't need to shift gears.That's not even an "automatic" that's a single, fixed gear ratio.
