>he doesn't check his tire pressure every morning
>>28896055I can determine if my tires are under 32 psi with a simple glance
It's easy to tell from a glance. Further while the truck idles for a second I can check the TPS if I though one looked a little low.
it has an electric tire pressure thingy that I assume beeps at me if its fucked upIm so terrified of running a flat somewhere remote cuz I have non run flat tires I just refuse to check the pressure gauge, I have a manual gauge in the car too, I just dont use itthey just magically stay inflated and I don't question it
I just glance at them now and again. I've got a long gravel driveway with some deep parts and some parts have no gravel left but dirt potholes. Going over that on these tiny 14s usually tells me if something's off.>>28896079Consider that people ran without tire monitors for a century. Without cell phones.Flats do occasionally happen but it's nothing to actively worry about.
>>28896086my dad drove like an asshole and we got 3 flats on run flat tires because of going too fast over potholes or metal thingies in the roadnow *I* drive, and my tires aren't run flat (which is more comfy) but I am terrified of puncturing them and I drive as gingerly as possible especially over bumps but I do go on some rough roads and I still haven't figured out an EASY IDIOTPROOF system to quickly, easily deflate and reinflate my tires for rougher dirt roads (I am spatially retarded, please be patient)from what I understand Falken only sells run flat all terrain tires in 18+ inch sizes, and I have 17s - which is better cuz smaller tire = comfier ride and I think having chunky all terrains may confer some puncture resistance as well but I am not mechanically inclined and hike in some VERY remote places and live in perpetual fear of fucking up I am very grateful to have electric monitoring I remember as a kid my dad having to manually check the pressures
>>28896086new cars no longer come with a full size spare. hell, sometimes they don't even come with a donut or space saver spare, it's just a bottle of sealant. gotta max out that mpg for corporate average emissions yo.
>>28896089>I still haven't figured out an EASY IDIOTPROOF system to quickly, easily deflate and reinflate my tires for rougher dirt roadsI have one of these in my trunk if I'm ever concerned. Jump starter and air pump, you set it to a psi and it fills the tire to it. You can deflate with the nozzle tip half-inserted as you would a bike tire.
>>28896055Weekly is fine, froggy.
>>28896055I can smell it just fine.
>>28896057>he has flabby 32-lb/in^2 tiresngmi
>>28896117More like 29.
>>28896100That shit drains so you better check them once in a while. I had one for when my battery was shit and it kept draining always had to recharge before use.
>>28896089Get some tire deflators. You set the pressure you want then screw them on and walk away until they hit that pressure. Beats sitting there poking a rock into the valve stem. Inflating is just a pain in the ass unless you want to spend thousands on a CTIS. A decent compressor makes it a lot better. I got one of these and it's magnitudes better than these shitty little buzzy compressors like these >>28896100. Anything that runs off of the cigarette lighter or is part of a jump pack is pure shit. What shitbox do you plan on putting AT's on? You sound too low test to be out in the wilderness.
>>28896055My car tells me what it is though
>>28896169>part of a jump pack is pure shit.Don't get me wrong. I got it because I bought a car with ground issues and a dead battery. For a month or so I started the car with it every time. Go into the grocery store? Quick jump start. Get gas? Another jump start.I'll fill up the miat, jeep, silverado, golf cart, lawn mower x3, tractor x2, Gator, and handtruck and it's still got over 75% power.I've been very impressed desu, and it's small so I can put it behind a Miata seat. I have a 60-gal air compressor and I usually use this thing now, it's actually convenient. And it could save your ass in a rough situation.
>>28896055You check your tire pressure daily because you have autism. I check my tire pressure daily because the passenger rear has a leaky valve stem and I'm not changing that bitch until the tire is worn out. We are not the same.
>>28896055Why would I?I only use MICHELINs,and only one have my cars doesn't of tire pressure monitorsWho drives their car every day in the first place LOL iMaGiNe driving to work with all those "npcs" to use the parlance of our tines>ooh de doo just going to work like some businessfag!Hahahahahha couldn't be me
Can someone recommend a good tire inflator I can fit in my cuckover? I would assume ones that have a battery in them rather than hooking up to the car battery are easier to use, but maybe slower at inflating?
>>28896055My car does it for me because I'm not a cro magnon
>>28896863I have Ryobi tools so I just have a Ryobi one that uses the battery. I bring it with me on road trips. This one is the old one they have a nicer less bulky one now.
>>28896055I've got sensors for that shit
>>28896055Every morning? I check it every couple of weeks.
you only need to check twice a year>it turns summer and you put on summer tires>it turns winter and you put on winter tires
>>28899177What about in the fallor an unreasonably dry winter
>>28899215>What about in the fallYou mean AutumnAnd that's not Summer or Winter
>>28896849Based, I was on that program when my rope plug kept leaking all the way until I wore the tire out and changed it myself with tire irons the old fashioned way
>not having tesla app tell you if your tires are bellow needed psiuh
>he doesn't check his cylinder compression every 300 milesur gonna burn oil bro
>>28896171>running a jacked ass PSI differential because you have no skillSimply amazing.
>>28900287It's not no skill, Mom! It's called drifting and I do it on purpose! Reeee
>>28900287NTA but why would raising the rears be a band-aid for no skill? It makes the rear more likely to kick out even during things like braking or throttle lifts. It's more-dangerous, but great for low-speed drifting. That Tesla is probably on HP summer tires and weigs 4k+ lbs so idk why they'd do that, it makes launching harder in a drag race.
