The only people who race for cash are ultra-rich influencers and the occasional successful trust fund biz, finance, or energy bro who got a fat inheritance AND fat paycheck.They are there for the ego of having a fast car.Most street racing is done for fun, because it's just fun. Used to be ('00s) there were huge parking lot meetups and people would occasionally bet a few bucks, most people ran 14-15s with the top dogs running low-12s. Now it's just people with insane built rods or supercars.
