>>28901297They couldnt find any more chargers.But the wheelbase on an LTD was the same as the charger.LTDs were easy to source.So they pulled the LTD body and bolted up the charger unibody chassis to the LTD frame.Its not going to fly at a car show but it "functioned" and they could get another jump scene from the otherwise mangled charger body.Then they started reusing old jump footage.Then they went to miniatures for junp scenes in the last couple seasons (with the other, shitty Duke cousins)

On film, Crockets car was blown up during one of the season finales (actually blown up, before CGI became standard) and next season he was driving a legit testarossa. However, the second car was never destroyed and still exists.
