>turn key

>battery sends power to starter

>starter pops out a little gear on a stick that spins a bigger gear attached to a bigger stick

>that bigger stick basically has a bunch of plungers attached to it that go up and down inside tubes

>when the tubes go down they suck in air through a hose and a little nozzle squirts some juice created by a whole fleet of other Rube Goldberg machines into the tube

>when the plungers go up and reach the top, it zaps the juice to make a cute little "pop" that pushes the plunger back down and spins the big stick

>then the big stick turns an even BIGGER stick that's attached to even more sticks that spin some wheels

But that's not all

>while the plungers go up and down, the big stick also spins a pulley with a belt on it

>the belt is attached to a bunch of other gadgets

>one that blows air (cute)

>one that spins boomer rocks inside a cage to produce electricity

>and a couple that spin and pump water throughout the entire Rube Goldberg machine so it doesn't melt

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE

>a chain is ALSO attached to a gear on the big stick

>when the big stick spins, it spins the chain

>and the chain is attached to, you guessed it, other sticks that spin

>and these sticks bonk little spings that open up valves so the plungers down below can get some of that air from the big hose (a Rube Goldberg machine itself)

damn, that's sick. i've always loved rube goldberg machines, never thought of my own car as one. i'll get even more enjoyment out of driving it now anon, thanks!
>>

Pretty based, innit?
>>
>>28901074
damn that's beautiful. imagine getting to drive a literal work of art like that.
>>
That's all easy to understand it only looks complicated because it moves so fast. The real black magic starts at little gear+big gear = more torx.
>>
>>28901731
dumbass motherfucker doesnt understand levers lmao
>>
>>28901741
Still ain't no reason for it to be working like that, though.
>>
>>28901751
form me its those fucking ecus, like what the FUCK even
>>
>>28901064
I always forgot the mods are also the same shit bags spamming this board.
Oh well.

Out of school for the weekend kiddo?
>>
>>28901064
did you get lsd? these are the kind of thoughts i had on it.
>>
Yeah Rube Goldberg was the coolest jew who ever lived and those contraptions are awesome

>all of that shiny bullshit
>still has crosstalk between heave and sway
>camber adjustment with shims like it's fucking 1963
I hate Panini Zumbas so much it's unreal. There's less engineering in all of them combined than a last-place FSAE car, they just hope you'll be too distracted by the anodizing and the dick blender to notice.
>>
>>28902067
>I did FSAE so I know car engineering
Just because decoupled suspension has been a meme for a while doesn't mean it isn't basically a waste of time to implement in FSAE. Also I have bad news for you about how 95% of teams implement camber adjustment in current year.
>>
>>28901064
You could make a similar shitpost about orchestras, maybe even all art in general. I think we should replace human artistry with straight forward electric machines and math (i.e. "AI").
>>
>>28902087
I didn't do FSAE, I just appreciate when a manufacturer spends more than $20 on engineering a multi-million dollar car.

Say it in math, if you're so smart.

Some engine designs are like rube goldberg nonsense machines. goldberg teaches kids that engineering is a joke out of some dumb boomers imagination
