My rim design theory
Every spoke provides a "step" in the torque or power band. Divide the torque/power band by the number of spokes and you can calculate the HP per step to achieve optimal performance. Spoke shape affects turning and acceleration primarily.

But I like the rice. Not saying I would.put them on a '68 Camaro but its a nice design that has a place somewhere.
Maybe a rally'd out focus or slammed nuBeetle with a wide body kit.
