I have finally found the perfect road. Rural Spain, zero traffic. I have a chink 300ccc "sport" bike and I'm thinking about upgrading soon. Do you think a supersport would be overkill for this kind of road? I'm considering buying a Ninja 400 instead or a faired sv650.

Mate bought a brand new husqvarna 701 last year.
Almost immediately the clutch started making weird noises and was slipping along with miscelaneous transmission issues.
Sent it in for warranty and they just went "yeah not our problem, you'll have to pay out of your own pocket".
300 bucks just for an oil change that he has to haul the bike in to an approved stealership and 700 bucks for them to open up the clutch and go "I ain't seeing shit in here" and slap it back together.

I relocated the cable because the previous dude lost the trunk lock clyinder and mount and I don't wanna carry 2 keys / install a fresh ignition clyinder when this one is perfectly fine.

So, I obviously don't stop every time at the same gas station, and this is probably laranoia, but on my last trip I got a chance to fill up a carbed engine on ethanol free fuel for a $.90 premium cost. I've been noticing my mog dropping on my single cylinder bike since last summer, from 47mpg down to 42mpg. Lo and behold, I somehow got right back up to 47mpg this weekend.

Anyone know a way to adjust jacking waist Velcro loops tighter or at least shorten the straps without cutting? This fit fine then I lost 20lb and most of that was waite line. I went down to a 32 waist and this thing felt right only when I was fatter.

Depends where you feel the wrist pain. Tendon pain is not uncommon with heavy clutch moments.
That said, please play with the angle of the clutch lever mount to see if more forward or back relative to the bar mount works better or worse for you. If the peak pain is ONLY when actuating the clutch, you either lack the strength or have inflammation. I don't mean this as a personal slight, it just is what it is. First step is lubing the cable (if cable) and changing the angle of the mount relative to the bar.
