Talk me out of getting one?
>le HECKIN gas prices>drive down the street last night>87 is 2.90 a gallon??
>>28905771>Talk me out of getting one?why would I do that?
You should get one. Think of them more like 2 wheeled go-karts.
had one. loved it.
>>28905796Looks like a prop from the Battle Star Galactica tv show.
>>28905801Sarah Connor came to mind a Honda Elite 150 Deluxe.
What is picrel from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2?
>>28905771That specific one? Parts and support will probably be a bitch. Get something newer that still has parts and support plentifully available. Part of the scooter charm is being utilitarian, which doesn't go well with a 40+ year old time and money pit.
>>28905811I see >>28905805 Honda Elite. Radical duude.
>>28905815Helix anon here. I agree with this guy. I found a few NOS Honda parts when I wrecked my Helix into a deer but some of the parts were unobtainium and I lucked into a couple of ebay parts weeks after I started riding again. I actually rotated into a Suzuki burgman 400 and it's been fantastic. Same MPG as the helix had but more horsepower and a HUGE underseat storage area. Fits a full helmet, backpack, gloves, hoodie, and shoes all at once.
>>28905805>Pop-up headlightDaaaaamn!
it's oh so weird none of you gas price trolls were here complaining 4 years ago when it was 50% higher.
do eeeet faggot
the 80's were a mistake
>>28905989you are mentally retarded
>guys should buy more stuff to save money?
I can't shake this pile>Always starts instantly >Raining, doesn't fucking matter >Cold, doesn't matter >Enough power to haul two if needed >Lighter weights in the cvt will pop up on one wheel if you tryMultiple bikes have come and gone and it always comes back to this bike, I couldn't find a pic but it's aquarium gravel blue now
>>28905771Get a ct125 instead.
>>28905771Man when a was a kid, early teen? The helix –and the smaller elite iirc?– looked so cool... Not just scooter cool, downright cool...no ifs or buts, cool, period...
cons its a scooter and parts (esp og/nos parts) are hard to find. chinese body panels dont fit quite right so they wont clip perfectly or panel bolts wont align without fanangling and the digital dash likes to have dead segments with no apparent repair possiblepros its peak comfy and goes 65+ mph
>>28908020>the digital dash likes to have dead segments with no apparent repair possiblesilly question, it's not just cracked soldering on the back of the displays/board?
>>28908026maybe but the lcd is connected using zebra strips like a calculator screen and ive used a ton of ipa to clean the contacts from corrosion but its still dead
All memes aside, is the Honda SH the best daily scooter?
