Environmentalists deserve to be genocided just because this exists
>>
A thread died for this, Anon.
>>
>>28906765
It should have been an environmentalist
>>
As much as I don't love my Kia's 2.5 NA powerplant (it really should have a light pressure turbo and 20-30 more hp), I realize it could be worse.
>>
>>28906764
Imagine complaining that a car uses less fuel. I bet anon feels like a true patriot spending $40 on gas just pulling out of his driveway.
>>
>>28906785
thats not the issue the issue is the tiny displacement, the wet belt timing chains, and the roughness and lack of smoothness of an unbalanced engine
>>
>>28906785
look around your room and tell us the total number dildos currently in your vicinity.
>>
>>28906785
Redditor cultists like you are the dumbest fuckin animals on the planet. You will cry about cars hardly lasting at all without catastrophic failure whole supporting the reason why it happens. You need to be kicked in the fuckin head
>>
>>28906785
an understressed engine that you only have to press slightly on the throttle and the car easily moves forward will use less fuel and last much longer
>>
>>28906790
>wet belt timing chains,
The efficiency gain is minimal, it's just manufacturers competing to make the worst possible engines

>>28906801
>an understressed engine that you only have to press slightly on the throttle and the car easily moves forward
It's called a diesel engine
>>
>>28906764
Environmentalists prefer more EVs. Not ecoboosts.
>>
>>28906801
I really hate having to floor it to pass. And these new throttle-by-wire pedals, the tip in isn't too sharp I guess but like there's not a progressive travel you either use 20% throttle, 40%, or 100% and half pressed down vs fully pressed down isn't a different amount of go, it's just easier on your foot to press it down and WAY HARDER on your foot to have to micro-press the pedal to maintain low speeds.
If anything econoboxes should have small displacement 2.5L v6 engines making 220-230 hp so there's not such a scary lack of low end torque
>>
>>28906764
If it makes you feel any better they're all antinatalists or troons so they're genociding themselves
>>
>>28906829
I rented an explorer a while back and the pedal had a travel of about 3/4 of an inch, if that. You're either freeway idling or mashing the go pedal.
God it was such a miserable car, even with all 4 windows down and your ears would be blown out above 20 mph
>>
>>28906850
I'm not. It's a path of God to be a good steward of the planet...just as much as it is to be fruitful and multiply.
>>
>>28906857
Having cars become unreliable and fill up landfills is not good for the environment, despite what your cult told you
>>
>>28906857
LOL
>>
>>28906874
Get a grip. Environmentalists aren't turning the world into India or something.
Either way, you're going to be forced into it anyhow. Don't just kick and scream and let it overwhelm you at the last minute.
>>
>>28906880
What's funny about having families and a clean earth at the same time? It's not an either/or.
And it was always a Christian view. What do you think Lord of the Rings was partly about? It was Saruman cutting down trees and raping people with chaos hordes. He did both. Not just one.
>>
>>28906887
I'm pretty sure you're doing a bit, but the single most environmentally-friendly action your average person can do is to not have kids or to have fewer.

Worse, they want to cover the world in plastic and make it look like shit hole africa
>>
>>28906889
Its really amazing how saving the world needs to always come at the expensive of the middle class and poor. The people living on yachts and private airplanes telling us the Earth cannot handle our kids... India, Africa, and China though are fine I need to turn off my AC in summer because If I dont they starve or some silly cultist shit like that
>>
>>28906889
I'm not doing a bit. Industrialism and its effects aren't like some Law of Physics that can't be bothered with and we all must allow to perpetuate in their current state. It's only been around for less than 300 years. It's not like some way of life that has been around for millions of years. This is doable. Plenty can be done to improve and help the environment rather than doomer ideas like antinatalism. That would be my last resort at least.
>>
>>28906901
>The people living on yachts and private airplanes telling us the Earth cannot handle our kids...
No, it's actually a neet sitting in the attic above someone's garage.
The "elites" are telling you to make more babby because it increases commerce / GDP which is how countries survive.
But every human increases plastic production, energy production, all sorts of pollution.
Buying a product because it gets better fuel mileage isn't going to offset bringing another human into the world.
>>
>>28906909
That chart is scary in many ways. I guess they need another round of covid vaccines to flatten the curve.

The West and it's people have significantly cleaned everything up in the past 100 years. This is how its so obvious to anyone with half a brain that EV/Green Energy/Environmentalism is a scam. Every single decade that passes in my life the "old" environmental laws are declared "not environmental enough" and everything is scrutinized further. No matter the advancements, its never good enough, and it ALWAYS comes at the expense of the consumer.

People like you are responsible for everything becoming an unreliable piece of shit because you culitsts are the dumbest fuckin animals on Earth.

>Oh you mean this dishwasher lasted for 30-50 years? Ohh whoops, but it was manufactured 20 years ago... That means its going to kill Earth if we use it!
>>
>>28906905
>Plenty can be done to improve and help the environment
YES it can. Stop focusing only on cars. They've been regulated to shit and there's pollution *everywhere* that people just ignore because "hurr, cars = pollution."
>>
>>28906909
>The "elites" are telling you to make more babby because it increases commerce / GDP which is how countries survive.
lol WHERE? Provide a single piece of major media in the West promoting birth expansion
>>
>>28906790
>wet belt chain
>>
>>28906764
fully okay with npc masses driving 1Lnpcappliances as long as i still get to drive good cars
>>
>>28906916
Electronic waste is literally the #1 catastrophic thing everyone should be focusing on but since Environmentalism is a cult scam, they focus on cutting the standard of living among the middle class as a means to "saving the world."

This is from 12 years ago. Just imagine how much worse it's gotten.

Okay, Trump's "Trump Accounts" for all newborn babies until '29? Don't pretend that there isn't a huge "great replacement, we need more white babies" undercurrent to the project25 crowd, they just can't say it anywhere but here.
>>
>>28906764
Ford a shit
>>
>>28906925
>Electronic waste is literally the #1 catastrophic thing everyone should be focusing on
It's up there.
>New phone, new 60" TV every year! New car every 3 years!
>2 years old? No security patches, gotta buy new network equipment for every facility in the company!
>>
>>28906933
I'm not a redditor cultist piece of shit I literally have no idea what you're talking about at all you insane person
>>
>>28906944
I'm not going to pretend like I haven't heard it spouted here (/o/) by /pol/tards over and over for the last 10 years.
>>
>>28906933
stupid fuckin faggot
>>
>>28906909
>Over 3x the population since my dad was born
This is why we can't have nice things.
Too many people for normal things like housing so older gens hold on to it as investments and you either get hooked-up or you don't.
It's a recipe for violence. This is what happens when you have too many kids.
>>
>>28906925
>>28906939
lol my coworkers and i were saying we should dump all our written off IT equipment to an e-waste collector. our managers' response?
>are you gonna pay for it?
our company absolutely can afford it, it wouldn't even scratch the revenue we make each month. but the managers are greedy cunts that won't let anything hurt their bonus for being a tightass.
>>
>>28906982
Your manager is a retard for not making the overall point: "The current "recycling" of E-waste is a scam, much like every other regulation out there. It just ends up in a landfill regardless. Like how they claimed to "recycle" wind turbines by chopping them up and putting them in the turf our children play football on. (Cant wait for that sudden cancer study to come out.)

Here in the West we close our coal plants while building data centers and then telling everyone the grid can't handle their AC in the summer. How curious. And yet capitalism is somehow blamed when it's entirely governmental.
>>
>>28906985
Oh and also too there is China with it's thousands upon thousands of coal plants and Iraq setting hectares of tires on fire. (That probably came from recycling companies in your country.)
>>
>>28906764
What if I have a 1.6L because that's what WRC required at the time?
>>
>>28906764
People are too comfortable issuing death threads online and advocating for genocides.
