And these new throttle-by-wire pedals, the tip in isn't too sharp I guess but like there's not a progressive travel you either use 20% throttle, 40%, or 100% and half pressed down vs fully pressed down isn't a different amount of go, it's just easier on your foot to press it down and WAY HARDER on your foot to have to micro-press the pedal to maintain low speeds. If anything econoboxes should have small displacement 2.5L v6 engines making 220-230 hp so there's not such a scary lack of low end torque
