What’s the “best” generation and trim of modern (non-shelby) mustangs? Also best mods?

>>28908117yes unless you get a 4v or a terminator they are literal dogs>>28908092the 2021-2022 mach 1 is the best naturally aspirated mustang. effectively a GT350 with a coyote instead of a voodoo. they were only $60k MSRP and had a significantly improved manual over the mt-82 in the base GT. if I weren’t DDing it i would’ve got a mach 1 instead of a GT Premium when i bought my ‘23.

s550 is peak. independent rear suspension, most of the MT82's problems were worked out, and ofc the great coyote engine and aesthetics. I think it looks much better than the >2023 models. Kind of want to buy one sometime...and then toss in an MGW shifter and go to town...I used to own a 2014 S197. Great cars. Outdated ass rear suspension makes it a starter when comparing it to anything that comes after. At least it was the first few years to have the coyote and 400 hp. Still great cars but I don't think they can compare to what came after.>pre 2011 coyote / faceliftonly if you get a great deal.
