What bike did you ride?Did you sleep in a tent?Did you enjoy it?
I have on my 1962 Izh Jupiter, on my IMZ Ural and one yurotrip on my Moto Guzzi, mostly slept in air bnb, didn't camp out.
I also rode a bike from Minnesota to NC but that wasn't camping
>>28913130don't sleep under your bike like this it'll fall on you and crush your head
>>28913130yeah, done a few weekend trips, one multi day trip, and one month long tripmy favourite one was probably the month long trip down to texas from canada, myself and a mate did a bunch of dispersed camping in national parks and random backwoods, near lakesides and above mountains. highlight of my life, planning on doing another similar trip this summer but just in canada.
>>28913649this was the peak camping spot, right above the grand canyon. can see the crack in the background. forgot to mention we only used hammocks, they pack lighter+smaller and give better sleep
>>289131303 days, first night I slept at a motor stop rest area park awning and it was raining, second night I met a bone skinny blonde girl and stayed at her apartment and we stuck our fun parts together all night then i left the next morning, third night i was on the road again and slept at one of those information centers, I asked if i could nap on the bench because i was too tired to ride further
>>28913130I spent ten days tent camping at Sturgis. Rode my Sportster out there (900ish miles one way), and quite a lot during the event
>>28913144the worst part of winter isn't the snow, it's all the damn sand they put on the roads around here instead of salt
>>28913998I wish they'd use sand here instead of road salt, even ground water locations aren't safe anymore because "uhh due to public safety, fuck the environment, fuck nature and fuck ground water, johanna needs to get to mcdonalds in her 2 ton SUV doing 160 on a 40 road in the middle of the winter".Traction control systems were a mistake
