>why yes I love driving my unibody car that pretends to be a pickup. Your response?
There's a lot to love. Two great powertrain options, incredibly affordable, super practical. New facelift is a downgrade in my opinion. Only reason I don't own one.
>>28914885If its adequate for the person buying it, why does it matter?
>>28914885>Cool man, enjoy If they just want a smaller vehicle with a bed, seats 4 comfortably and has good mpg it's pretty great.
>>28914885Walk away. There's no point talking to a drone.
"Slippery slope, the car."
>>28914885Whatever makes you happy.
>>28914885Considering you bought it I hope you feel that way but it’s kinda weird that you have to reassure yourself by verbalizing it unsolicited
I also enjoy driving my unibody vehicle with a bed. I think it's marvelous how it has only basic features but everything is good where it matters>PARALLEL HYBRID where both electric and gas motors drive the wheels>driveshaft for gas engine to drive rear wheels instead of electric motors >LI-ION hybrid battery instead of ni-mh which most other non-plugin hybrids use, allowing more capacity more output and lighter weight>Mazda L6 2.5L engine that's basically a K24 reliability wise>Like 300lbs heavier than a honda accord but 800lbs lighter than a tacoma>get asked all the time what the hell truck this is
>>28914888The reason you don’t own one is because your fucking broke nigga quit trippin….**digits
>>28914893We need quality control
>>28914885Enjoy life King.
There is a market of millions of people world wide who want the functionality and utility of having a pickup bed that will never tow anything and will never overload the bed and would otherwise prefer to drive a car.
>>28915064This
>>28914885>pretends to be a pickup.I don't get it, it is a pickup
>>28915074Im one of those people.I daily drive it, occasionally haul shit to the landfill, transport toolboxes, engines, help with moving houses etc.Ive never needed it to do more, and I can just pay someone to trailer a car if I need it that bad.
>>28915074Yeah it's called a half ton and they sell millions of them a year. What the fuck is up with this place and constantly trying to reinvent the fucking wheel?
>>28914885Incredibly based. I too love driving my unibody car that pretends to be a pickup. Its far more practical than a regular crossover but gets even better fuel mileage than one. Its such a perfect vehicle for someone like myself. Im glad you share that sentiment.
>>28914885It's TINY...Like, pictures don't actually portray how tiny this thing is... If you're a "sporty" and or "wannabe sporty" childless couple, 5'9" at the most. With a dog or two you'll be alright, otherwise... You're fucked.
>>28915323Pickups are trucks. This is sure as shit not a truck. The ElCamino and Ranchero were never pickups and they're still more of a pickup than a Maverick.
>>28914888lollmao even
>>28916120There's a truck bed in it, it is a pickup truck
>>28915856Imagine I wanted a half ton but I didn't want to pay $55k for a lot of off-road capability and didn't need to tow 13k lbs and wanted better fuel economy. Why can't that vehicle exist?
>>28916142Yeah I don't think so, Dave-o. Your shitty ute things are not pickup trucks. >>28916143These vehicles exist. Why do you pretend that they don't?
>>28916145single cabs are dogshit anyone who is not fucked in the head gets a quad cab
>>28916147Okay so that's too basic for you now. Okay you goldilocks faggot. If you want a crew cab spend another $3-5k and get a crew cab. That's still priced at or below the Maverick.
>>28914885It's called an Ute. For suburban landscaping or ither small business it's more than enough
>>28916145I still don't want to pay 40k and I want backseats and more than 18 highway mpg and AWD for when it snows
>>28916106Have you actually sat in one before? I'm 6'2" and with my seat height increased by like 7 clicks my head is still like 6 inches away from the roof with the seat straight up, and my seat is over half of the way forward so I can reach things. It's actually comical how far the seat can go back to the point my legs are completely straight to reach the pedals. There's a ton of headroom in the maverick, the legroom is like a civic but I fit perfectly fine in the back seat behind myself at 6'2". Also bought it because I very rarely use the back seats, they are effectively my trunk and the bed is a super trunk with the tonneau
>>28916153It's under $40k for a crew cab with 4x4. Those 4bangers or the small ecoboosts can get 25+mpg highway. A half ton will have a way higher resale value. Stop coping.
>>28916148>That's still priced at or below the Maverick.Yeah if you're both a Costco member and a retired military member. Oh but you didn't think to actually look at the discounts from that dealership, did you. You just clicked "price ascending" and took it at face value. Imagine trusting a dealership so wholeheartedly.
>>28916158If you paid attention in elementary school you would know why a half ton can sell for considerably lower than a low volume new platform vehicle.
