I bought a Model S Performance several years ago and then though it didn't need much servicing, when it need it always needed to go to the Tesla place which is over an hour away so I got rid of it. It does suck too because it was a good car and I would actually really like a new Model 3 performance even though it would be slower than my old S, and no other auto maker is making comparable cars.
