https://youtu.be/ypkVFbNXjY4?si=qW_Tja8DB17VVEnp&t=295really made me think
>>28916971Megane driver has done many laps there, Merc driver hasn't. Shrimple as.
>>28917023you're most likely right, still kind of epic though, merc dude might haven't felt like crashing his multy thousands of dollars worth of car
>>28917027You can tell as soon as they were coming out of the foxhole when he first catches the guy in the Merc lines suck balls and he just used the power to stay ahead as long as possible. Later going up the high speed hill he also didn't know where to place the car to carry speed and the blind right at the top of the hill clearly scared him off and handed the pass to the guy in the Megane that was lined up properly and stayed in it.
>>28916971>merc driver braking into a turn at 70-80mphtells me everything I need to know.
>>28917046share the insight
>>28917041>>28917046I love how technical you guys are about this, I need to start paying more attention, I'm usually checking mercs on the autobahn (DE if I find it, NL sux) and that's cool, but I found nurburgring is way cooler, but also a whole another concept entirely
>>28917630and btw! I just saw a drag racing compliation the other day where nu-muscle cars/american cars got fooking reekt to oblivion by the old american muscle cars, like it wasn't even close
>>28917632That's kind of expected. A $1,000 Civic with $39,000 worth of competent mods will be faster than whatever you can get new for $40,000 these days. If you're looking at an event where everyone is trying to go fast and no one is poor, the older cars will be faster because they have more aftermarket and less NPC tax.
