What's the consensus on the nu-F150? I want a single cab truck and the used market is boomers asking 20k for a rusted broken shitbox.
>>28917079Over priced. Used market is a much better value particularly if you want a truck you're actually going to work with and not a poser truck.
You could probably get a ram with the 5.7 e-torque mild hybrid thing for cheaper than a base engine F150
>>28917079If you’re truly dead set on a regular cab the Ford gives you the most flexibility. Youll get the 2.7 base which is a very stout engine, you can upgrade to the 3.5 non powerboost if you wanted, and they also put the Coyote in these if you really wanted it. Dodge doesn’t make a RC and Chevy only offers the 2.7 I4 and the 5.3 V8. 6.2 is paywalled. IMO an extended cab is a lot better than a RC. Having lived with a RC ford F150 for almost two years I always wished for an extended cab. Especially with a dog, my dog hated riding in the front seat, and when I went hunting it was nice to throw my rifle in the back and not have to worry about it being in the bed.
>>28917443* would’ve been nice
>>28917116The only work I plan on doing with it is picking up your mom. Now explain in non-poorfag terms why it's a better value to buy an overpriced used shitbox from a boomer (guessing you can't)
>>28917443>>28917079I drove my regular cab ranger for 18 years. I always wished it was extended cab. Highly recommend extended cab at a minimum for a personal vehicle
>>28917582Just find someone you know with x-plan and buy new
>>28917116Totally incorrectA new 2dr Chevy can be had for sub 30kUsed is broken still, getting better but really better off just getting new.
>>28917204>>28917443Mild hybrid isnt worth it if you plan on keeping itBest bet is naturally aspirated
