It was largely regarded as a better track vehicle than an F30 M3, and with the Alpha chassis being benchmarked off a E46 M3 for "feel" I'd argue it almost does a better job of being an M3/M4 than the real thing. Even more so with the subsequent gens. It's only flaws were really that lame CUE system. It's more of a shame that since transforming the ATS into the CT4, the coupe variant was lost as well.
