EVs should be taxed higher than normal cars. They don't pay gas tax and don't contribute to road maintenance. They're even heavier than a normal car and do more damage to the road. Why do I have to subsidize these faggots entire existence just because I choose to have a car with a real engine in it that has real towing capacity?

It should be taken into consideration at least.Due to the added weight they contribute more to road wear. They need more breaking friction to stop. They require $400/ea tires that only last 1-3 years because of said weight (applies to overweight ICE, too). More braking pollution (maybe including asbestos), more tire microplastics.
