they really have a dct in that shitbox? that's neat99 times out of 100 someone buying this is a sticklet that can't drive a real transmission but for that 1 guy that just wants to rip the fuck around banging out instant gear changes I hope you enjoy your ~50k miles left in that motor

Be aware their DCTs have crazy failure rates and have for over a decade. There's even a recall on this specific one where their "response" is to just update the clutch learning software. https://autoservice.hyundaiusa.com/Campaign236/MicroSiteTemplate/MicroSiteTemplateVINValidate/4214They've had 2 class action lawsuits on the DCTs one in 2016, and a newer one is investigating '21-22 models.The problems have been so bad that in for '26 they're switching to standard slushboxes only.Most are fine, it's probably fine but Hyundai Kia DCTs fail at extremely high rates compared to normal and they're really expensive to replace and they usually start failing just before 100k.
