Even though I replaced it with a "faster" car, I still miss my E46. I never could figure out an intermittent misfire it had, something with the coil packs (unplug, plug back in, worked), but it was still an amazing driving car. Funny enough, I went from an E60 and an E90 (E39 before that) to the E46 and tended to enjoy it more than the others. Better "driving dynamics" or whatever BMW-ish buzzword they tend to use.

I want another E46...

I do in some ways, too, where I look back fondly on it. I had a black E36 325i sedan and it was great overall. Sold it ~13 years ago. Soon after bought a Monaro, had that for ~11 years (now trying to sell) and recently back into Krautworld with an R32 Golf. The main issue I remember with it was an O2 sensor was fucked and you had to take apart so much to reach it, per typical Kraut over-engineering fashion.
