Once I am more than 5 mins into the ride I just set it to whatever is a nice environment and let it handle that and I may have to adjust it one or 2 degrees. I live in the tropics so full blast cold is necessary for the first couple minutes even if you air out the car before getting in.What will make you laugh is that they still sell trucks that only have fan speed and A/C on or off.
