N55 M2 or M240i? They cost almost the same.

Get the B58 or whatever it's called that the fuccbois like

>engine code starts with N
unreliable dogshit, it needs to start with s or b

>implying all S engines are reliable

honestly v10s are pretty much irrelevant and only a retarded boomer would buy them, no idea about that engine

I've heard a lot of anecdotes about the S65 and S85, mostly about the crank bearings and once you've replaced them with aftermarket shit, the engines are at least mechanically fairly stout, electronics are another thing.
I've also heard about people nearing the half a million kilometre mark with factory internals despite driving them hard.
My old boss had an E92 M3 with was it 380k km on the clock and he drove the thing like an 18 year old hoon, it was still with factory main bearings, but the auto tranny had been swapped for a 6 speed manual.

>Spins your crank hub
>Oil filter housing gasket still leaks
>Lmao that entire plastic coolant thermostat management module covered in torx fasteners

>Oil filter housing gasket still leaks
only an issue in B engines, S have metal instead of plastic

Prob M2 imo bc it will hold value better but the B58 and ZF8 are more reliable.
The cars are really the same aside from that in terms of suspension and handling.

whatever you can get the best lease deal on.
or if money's tight.... whatever gets the best mileage for your work commute.

B58 powered M240i and then get a widebody because otherwise you’re stuck with tiny tires.
Oh yeah, and a LSD.
And a KW V3 + proper alignment.

the
that og m2 has an n55b30t0 that came with the cooling system, forged crankshaft, connecting rods, and pistons of the s55(m3/m4) and cooper coated sleeves. plus you get the same M chassis, suspensions, differential and transmission(manual or dct) as the m2c, m3 and m4. and imo it just looks better than the 240. the og m2 is more of a sport car, while the 240 is more of daily sporty vibes car.
>>
the og m2 has hydraulic steering

I suppose N stands for Nigger because the engines never work
>>
>>28930231
The Elantra N has been winning numerous 24h of burgerking races over the years.
There’s no better indicator for a solid engine

S85 driver here. Its fine if you are not broke and can replace the bearings upon buying it. 2000s exotic performance and character, high revving V10. The SMG transmission is the much bigger problem.
>>
>s engine
rod bearings are maintenance items, chud!
