Why did ((they)) take away subcompact body on frame SUVs?Were they just too based?
>>28931833According to The Science they have bad fuel economy. But 3 ton behemoths with foot wide tires are completely fine.
>>28931837Then want everyone in unibody goyslop that needs to be replaced every year so shekleberg can keep in you debt forever. Longevity = bad for the bankers, bad for the stock holders.
>>28931833Rollover risk and crash safety if I had to guessSo yes
>>28931867Claims of rollover risk were fabricatedJimnys are always built to the same safety standards as every other passenger car because duh
>>28931901the grind hard plumbing co youtube channel just did a multi-day roadtrip in a couple of samurais and they had multiple people approach them, unprompted, to tell them how much they loved those cars and also about "that time I flipped mine"
>>28931901>It's fabricated bro>My source? I made it the fuck upMany such cases. Things happen anon, hope you get meds someday.
>>28931833Probably because you get similar MPG with larger vehicles, kinda like how my old Toyota pickup gets the same mileage as a Silverado when one is tiny as fuck with 90hp and the other is big with 280hp, nobody wants the loss in capability with little to nothing to show for it
>>28931909So imaginary boomer anecdotes from some youtube video are evidence now kekThis was made just for you then I guess https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3sGkP8HeBYBut it's over 15 minutes long so strap in
>>28931833I lub these
>>28931909I've watched some reviews of the Jimny and in a couple they had damage on the roof or replaced the roof because it flipped. Yes, they will flip if you corner them like a sports car. Plenty of videos of even Wranglers flipping but not on road, trying to go up difficult obstacles. You won't total the vehicle by flipping it either, just scratch up the roof. They are light, lifted, top heavy, and don't have a wide base. Yes you have to be careful in these and can't drive them like a sports car. They have their positives though.
