I kept dropping my harley street Bob and going slow was difficult. I want to sell the street Bob and get a Honda rebel 1100 DCT. I heard it's much easier to to use at slow speeds and less likely to be dropped. What does/o/ think? Any other suggestions?
>>28932671>Any other suggestions?learn to rideHarleys are generally pretty easy to handle at low speeds, so the issue is you, not the bikeif anything, buy a cheap old bike and learn on that. learn how to ride the friction zone and rear braking. 2 hours in a parking lot will get you better than 90% of boomer shits
Rebel 1100 will be too fast for a beginner coming from a Harley. I recommend a Rebel 500, it will be closer to the Harley performance and be easier to ride.
>>28932671You dont have a harley
>>28932671>DCTLiterally for women.
>>28932674I've heard heavier bikes are hard to handle. The street Bob is considered heavy
>>28932675Fast is fine. It's going slow thats the problem
>>28932775yeah. my little 140kg rollerskate 250 is a lot easier to flick around than this 300kg cast iron kaiju. but I've never had any trouble handling it.
Op needs to learn to ride the clutch.
>>28932775Yes they're heavy and that adds to the difficulty but a big thing is frame geometry, they use their mass for stabilization so the geometry is set up for quicker steering at low speeds, this setup is prone to death wobble. Sportbikes are designed to be stable at high speed, this makes their steering lazy at slow speeds, this setup turns death wobbles into tank slappers. Bike geometry is actually a really complex topic, what I said isn't always true but a generalization against cruisers and sportbikes
>>28932671Post a picture of your street bob. I definitely wouldn’t trade it for a rebel… you’re gonna regret it. Just practice, don’t buy a crutch.
>>28932671have you taken a riding class? the slow speed practice setups they have are very helpful.
>>28932681X2 this is a troll thread. Not even a good one.
>>28932681Ok poorfag
>>28933352Let's see proof. :)
