>>28933178The 940 is related to the 740 whereas the 960 is from the 760.I think the 940 was still with solid rear axle and drivetrains from the 740, whereas the 960 had independent rear suspension.940 never got the 6 cylinder petrol engines, only a variety of 4 pots and the straight 6 diesels, which is a good thing because tin sixes suck ass.In layman terms the 960 is just a better equipped upscale 940 and the 940 is just a facelifted, uglier 740.
