ive been thinking about getting a v90 just for daily stuff. theres an entire city of 55+ people here and they post them in classifieds for like 2-3k with like 70k miles garaged. its pretty tempting but i know it would feel crazy slow and they dont have manuals in usa.

Yeah, they call it the AW30-40, but it's exactly the same as the A340E.

The 940 is related to the 740 whereas the 960 is from the 760.
I think the 940 was still with solid rear axle and drivetrains from the 740, whereas the 960 had independent rear suspension.
940 never got the 6 cylinder petrol engines, only a variety of 4 pots and the straight 6 diesels, which is a good thing because tin sixes suck ass.

In layman terms the 960 is just a better equipped upscale 940 and the 940 is just a facelifted, uglier 740.
